Title: Awesome full range speaker
Review: You will not find a better full range speaker at this price point. I’ve been into and installing HIFI audio for almost 30 years and this speaker is bullet proof as far as clarity, quality, and compatibility in many applications. Every frequency from about 200hz to around 20 khz is very balanced and sounds great.Cone excursion is not massive so don’t expect to hit hard under 200hz or in low frequency even though it can reproduce those frequencies very well without massive distortion, the speaker will not move enough for it to be audible.Mid range bass and high range are some of the best I’ve heard and crystal clear. The sound is more strong than warm but it doesn’t distort under heavy load until pushed into its maximum power handling which is past the threshold of hearing pain.I’ve used pioneer for many years on many builds and it’s always been my favorite because of the sound quality, build quality, and price. This is no different. I’ve owned many of their products and they have very long lifespans.Lastly we have fit and compatibility, it’s got an acceptable mounting depth and will probably fit into many tight spaces at the sacrifice of lower frequency ranges ( it’s not a subwoofer or something like I said) . The built in tweeter as a two way does not extend above the speaker so it can be mounted under door panels without the included grills. There are multiple mounting screw holes for common applications and the normal four for custom ones.Don’t expect to find better speakers unless you are willing to pay way more. Excellent product!

Review: Fit perfectly in 2007 Honda Civic doors after figuring it out how to mount them to the spacers you have to have. Sound very nice. When fully broken in after 200 hours or so use I’m sure the bass will I,prove slightly.

Review: I used these to replace my OEM VW passat speakers. These are nicer sounding, and I had no issues with the speaker install (though you will need an adapter and cable to use these in a VW). I don’t have any complaints, I will update if I have any issues at a future date. Also; I bought from Amazon Warehouse and they were in perfect condition, except I was missing a cable, though I didn’t need it.For VW install:If you are also replacing VW speakers you’ll also need an height adapter, cable adapter, door clips (they’re circular vortex looking things that pop into the door), torx t30 (that’s at least like 1″ long to reach), some kind of hex key that fits into a t30 or a t30 right angle key style (since very low torque I used hex key), flathead/metal pry tool (take out clip things from metal part of door), trim tool of some kind or again a flathead if you don’t care about damage. And a few hours per door, take your time, I didn’t take out all the wires either, just rotated the door out of the way and rested it on a bit of wood.
