Title: Very nice floating shelves
Review: I needed some wall shelves for a room remodel but wanted them to be fairly sturdy. These are designed with through bars to stabilize greater loads than a lot of other floating shelves I’ve seen. The oak colour is more grey than I expected from the original photographs. They still look nice, but I was expecting a warmer classic tone that would better match my furniture. The machining is quite nice, a couple rough edges in the back, smooth elsewhere but for a couple knots in the wood. I really like how many anchor points there are on the mount, plus straightforward installation. I would recommend picking up your own sturdier drywall anchors as I struggled with the included ones being too soft for my walls and a couple breaking despite drilling the recommended size pilot holes. The mount seems sturdy once installed, and the shelves simply slide onto the rods. I do wish there was a something that secures the shelves beyond that, but I suppose it would take some force to pull them off the wall, and they’re definitely strong enough for the small things they’ll be holding here. Overall it’s a nice set. Just consider upgrading the hardware.

Review: These shelves are absolutely beautiful, and I love that they are made of solid wood. However, the wood itself had some rougher patches and could have benefited from a bit more sanding before the stain was applied. That said, the stain was flawlessly done, and the brackets were sturdy and easy to install. While the price is on the higher side, I would still consider ordering them again because I appreciate quality wood pieces.Straight out of the box, there was a slight stain smell, but it dissipated within about two hours. I also tested wiping them down with a wet rag, and no stain residue came off.That said, there were a few imperfections. The actual measurements were slightly different from what was advertised—mine came in at 35-3/4″ x 7-3/4″. Additionally, two knots had been filled with wood filler, leaving minor blemishes, and one shelf had two tiny dings on the corner—both of which were acceptable to me. The biggest inconsistency was the depth of one shelf, which varied from 7-3/4″ on one end to 7-5/8″ on the other, creating a 1/8″ discrepancy. While this wasn’t a deal-breaker for me since I prefer a rustic look, it’s something to consider if you need precise measurements.For a price of $49.99 each, I had hoped for flawless craftsmanship and exact dimensions. While these are a great choice for anyone who values real wood shelves, if I were to order them again, I would probably wait for a sale.

Review: These shelves are gorgeous, and their execution is super smart. You don’t have to worry about installing the whole thing, but instead you focus on the brackets, and then slide the shelves into place when you’re done.
