Title: Sturdy and holds a lot of stuff 🤩
Review: The bookcase is made from real wood. Instructions are included, I needed a few extra hands to set it up. It’s the perfect size for my room. Shelves are nice and sturdy. You may need book ends to prevent items from falling. Money well spent! Great purchase. Happy Customer!!

Title: High quality and carefully thought out details
Review: Super impressed with the solid wood shelves on this unit! I went down a rabbit-hole searching far and wide for the perfect set of shelves for my son’s room. I was greatly disappointed by the vast majority of the offerings. Most looked cheap and their shelves were obviously particleboard with printed wood veneer. Those low quality offerings were a few dollars cheaper but you just know they are destined for the garbage dump sooner rather than later. I’m tired of being burned by too-good-to-be-true pricing of furniture.None of that is the case with this unit! The shelves are thick solid wood with beautiful grain. The metal frame was well designed to hide fasteners as much as possible for a clean look. The finish on the metal was nice and even and a close match to what you see pictured. Assembly was reasonably easy. The hardest part was deciphering which frame panel is which because they are not labeled. Actually I prefer no labeling because those adhesive stickers always leave behind annoying residue. I also liked the thick rubber adjustable feet. They provide a sturdy, non-slip, and non-marring base.Among the carefully thought details were a clear full-color instruction booklet, a hand dusting mitt, and a pair of white gloves (for assembly?). I was also impressed with the design of the packaging with protection from outside damage as well as between each piece to keep them from scratching one another.The only tool needed for assembly which was not provided is a wrench to hold some of the nuts while tightening down the bolts they connect to.

Review: Shelves are much thicker and stained very dark. Crossbar is not in the center as pictured, but crosses below second shelf. Very sturdy, but very dark.
