Alpine saw an opportunity to provide an upgrade kit for the rear soundbar that will capture the high-and-mid-levels of your music for 90-watts RMS/ 270-watts Peak Power. The SPV-65-JLT Rear Soundbar Upgrade Kit includes a 6.5-inch mid-bass driver and 1-inch teteron dome tweeter that replaces the factory 3-inch and 4-inch drivers in the 2018 – Up Jeep ® Wrangler and 2020 – Up Jeep ® Gladiator (without the Alpine OEM Premium Amplified System). The speakers and tweeters reach high-end frequencies (50kHz – 22kHz) that are often lost in the top or door-off configurations. This improves the range of sound reproduction so you can hear the details of your music. Caught in the rain? The SPV-65-JLT ensures an uninterrupted performance no matter the driving condition. Rated at IP55 for weather-resistance, the kit can withstand rain and dirt weather you’re driving in the city or on the backroads. The SPV-65-JLT includes rugged, premium grills that protect your speakers and match the interior of the Jeep ®. An installation kit includes a cutting template for the rear soundbar and vehicle-specific connectors for plug-and-play installation. The SPV-65-JLT utilizes the factory bold holes and includes vehicle-specific connectors for plug-and-play installation. The SPV-65-JLT is compatible with the new 2018 – Up Jeep® Wrangler and 2020 – Up Jeep® Gladiator (without the Alpine OEM Premium Amplified System) and works with the Jeep® factory head unit, an aftermarket dash system, and the Alpine X409-WRA-JL 9-inch Weather-Resistant Navigation Receiver with Off-Road Mode.

Title: Great sound improvement over stock.
Review: Great Alpine quality and sound.Prices a bit high, but with the convenience of a plug -n-play it’s an easy install.Would highly recommend using an oscillating saw versus a circulating because If you are not careful you can cut through a side or bottom.I would also recommend taking the speaker bar off, if not you will have plastic shards all over. 2 hour job max with speaker bar removalFYI this is for the stock non-sub systemI added the Alpine PSS-23 WRA. Which added good base and I think the sound is better than the Alpine stock upgrade.

Title: Very Bad-Do not waste your money!!!!!
Review: I was so excited to order these for my 2018 JL. They promised a great improvement in bass and overall sound and they are more than disappointing. They sound like an AM Radio speaker in a card board box.Nothing but mids and some highs. I would return these but you have to cut up your sound bar and then you cant reinstall your stock speakers. And they are almost 500 dollars!! Worst purchase I have ever made.You would be better off getting some 4″ and replacing the stock drivers for under $100. That’s what I had before and sounded much better than these awful speakers. Contact me if you want specifics

Review: Definitely worth the upgrade. Recommend searching and watched a YouTube video for installation. It requires mechanical skills and right tools to cut out the plastic to fit the new speakers.

Title: Great addition to our apline upgrades
Review: Bought these after buying the sub and dash tweeter package. Really brings out the vocals with freedom panels removed and windows down as well as sounding amazing all closed up. Yes its a little pricey but it fits well and sounds goos. Worse part level 3 of 5 after some dremel cutting of factory speaker area. Wife and I had in done in an hour.

Title: Best $500 I have spent in a long time!
Review: The installation instructions were clear and concise. Installation took about an hour. I was a little nervous taking a sawzall to the sound bar! The speakers are plug and play. No wiring modifications needed. Took the Gladiator for a ride. The doors and the top are off. The speakers sounded fantastic! Much clearer at speed then the stock speakers. They sit slightly lower than the OEM. The truck has the UConnect 7.0 radio
