Review: I ordered the Walnut version. The box is simple, and yet beautiful. Lid functions properly, easy open, easy close. The finish and color is what actually makes the box beautiful. The price is fair for what you get. Packaging is really good. It protects the box during shipping.

Title: No lacquer or varnish on the outside.
Review: Only 4 stars for me. This box is exactly as advertised and better than others the same size. However, the exterior finish wasn’t to my liking, which I already knew. I used Varathane Diamond Wood Finish (satin outdoor water based) on the outside for better looks and durability. I knew by looking at the pictures this would be an issue. Too bad the manufacturer didn’t do that.

Review: Die Holzschachtel aus Eichenholz ist sehr gut verarbeitet und besitzt hochwertige Scharniere. Hoher Preis aber auch entsprechende Qualität. Die Schachtel habe ich in Amerika bestellt, daher war die Lieferzeit länger, was mich aber nicht stört. Hergestellt ist die Schachtel in China, wo das Holz herkommt weiß ich nicht; auf jeden Fall ist die Schachtel weit gereist.
