Title: Easy of use and WORKS
Review: I have looked at food sealers and did not like the cumbersome, hard-to-store units that require plugging in, etc. I decided to give this unit a try and found it to be excellent for my needs. Title: Amazing reusable bags
Review: These bags are very sturdy and seal up tight. I ordered 3 sizes; small medium and large bags. The system is so easy to use and really quick. I love how compact it is and that they are reusable. I used large bags to package up a case of bacon and I could fit 20 thick slices of bacon in each bag. We can take it out of the freezer , take out how many we need and seal it back up within a minute.

Title: Good vacuum, poor bag quality
Review: EDIT- Manufacturer reached out with more info. Bags are good for about 10 uses, perhaps more if they are hand washed vs. dishwasher. They offered 10 free bags for my issue. Customer service is excellent and they went above and beyond to make it right. I appreciate their concern and response.I’ve had this for about 6 months now and I’ve used it for all kinds of things from Meats in the freezer vegetables fruits etc. I bought the kit which included the large and small bags with the vacuum sealer. I love the sealer and it works well and is very easy to charge and holds a charge for a long time. What I don’t like is the quality of the bags. The instructions say to wash them on the top shelf of the dishwasher, however after doing this a few times I noticed the bags no longer seal. I am using the enclosed tool that allows you to pinch it together tightly to hold the seal so that you can vacuum the air out of the bag. But I find that these are not always resealing. also had an issue where the vacuum sucks all the air out but as soon as you remove the vacuum from the button that attaches to the vacuum to suck out the air, it let’s air right back into the bag. I do have more bags to use, but now that I realize they are only good for a short period of time, I will struggle with either ordering more bags or switching to an entirely different system which means I have to buy a brand new vacuum. I’m going to try and hand wash them going forward to see if that makes them last any longer than more than a few times per usage.

Review: I am giving this chef preserve vacuum sealer five stars because it does work great and I do love it. The one thing that is disappointing after you wash the reusable bags, some of them don’t want to Ziploc anymore even with the little tool that comes with it. The bags are expensive, but when the bags are new and do seal it works amazing. I especially love it with cheese, I can reopen, use what I need and then reseal. I’m thinking that the hot water probably has something to do with why they don’t want to ziplock anymore once they’ve been in the dishwasher.
