Title: 4 months in and it’s exactly as advertised
Review: We needed to replace a great griddle made by a company in CT (and sold on Amazon for years), only to find they didn’t make it anymore – so it was time for me to find a semi-commercial griddle, like the big boy ones in restaurants and such (love the grille workers at Waffle House, for example!).It needed to be 110VAC and big – yet countertop-friendly, as we use it on top of the stove to utilize the exhaust hood when cooking.Homework completed, looked for one with good wattage rating as well as sturdy stainless steel – found this one, as sold by the usual dozens of Chinese distributors.This unit is EXACTLY what I expected it to be – and it’s been easier to clean and maintain than I expected, too. Yes, there are hot spots and cooler sides. Yes, you’l have to put some effort into maintaining it (it’s so easy, though). Yes, it weighs 40 pounds. Yes, the footies should be used only screwed all the way in (the threads in the body fail quickly, so just install them all the way in).Cooks a FULL POUND of bacon – that’s mandatory here. Does a great job with steak n cheese, burgers, chops, pancakes, eggs, all the usual.In short, it’s exactly what you’d expect it to be – and nothing more. Love it!

Title: Well worth the price!!
Review: This little grill works very well in my commercial kitchen. If you season it before you start grilling the stainless steel works great. I recommend cleaning it with 3M grill cleaner and then reseason with oil before each use. The 3M grill solution is the best grill chemical on the market.

Title: Disappointed is an understatement
Review: Griddle does not meet the advertising at all. Granted I did not expect commercial quality I did expect a usable product.This griddle only heats in the center in an oval area and takes forever to heat to usable temp. It also will not maintain cooking temperature/heat at all when adding food to cook. At 3000watts I would think it should be able to keep the cooking surface at a usable temperature range.I did have it plugged into a receptacle and electrical circuit that only had the griddle on it and is well rated for the amperage. I also used the included wire and plug and did not alter anything.Out of curiosity I shot the cooking surface with a thermal imager and attached are pictures showing the heating area and with the unit on/heating for approximately 20-25 minutes on highest heat setting to achieve the temperature in the images, 232°F.The stainless surface is extremely porous and looks to be finished by dragging the stainless plate across a gravel road. Food sticks really bad, really really bad, after cleaning, after seasoning, doesn’t matter the food sticks. Doesn’t help that even the smallest food item placed on the griddle to cook the temperature of the surface drops massively. From cooking great (in the very center only) to not cooking at all and yet again waiting for it to heat back up.It does not meet the criteria for a functional cooking appliance by any means.

Review: So on June 23 2023 a day before my B-Day My Landlord knocked on all the Apt’s and gave us a double hotplate burner told us gas won’t be working until mid October 2023 I have been without oven and stove ever since the above date Me being a serious Home Cook I couldn’t be without a oven and stove so I got a convection oven and just bought this grill 2 days ago I got it today used it tonight and Baby! Let me tell you I am so Over the moon Smash Burgers a Go!, Chop Cheese A Go! Easy To Clean with a Brick and when you buy Make sure to clean with white vinegar and a lil Dawn because it comes with a parchment paper with oil on it after a few washes then pour olive oil or Canola oil do not use vegetable oil turn heat to 572 and let it season then use it, this grill is one of the Best investments I purchased.

Review: So its not exactly what I expected. It’s definitely not nonstick, it takes a very long time to come to temp and the heat is not even throughout. But…. i was still able to do plenty with i figured out what was what. My favorite foods to cook with it are pancakes chicken steak and bacon …
