Focal Vestia No1 2-Way Bookshelf Loudspeaker finished in Light Wood – Sold as a Pair
Inspired by the pure heritage of Focal bookshelf loudspeakers, Vestia N°1 combines finesse with compact design while offering a detailed listening experience.
Slatefiber technology, exclusive to Focal, involves the use of recycled, non-woven carbon fibres applied as a sandwich between two layers of thermoplastic polymer. In their quest for perfection, Focal engineers have opted to use non-woven carbon fibres, all pointing in the same direction to achieve even greater rigidity, better damping but also lightness – the three “essentials” of a speaker driver. The Slatefiber cone is made in France in the Focal workshops.
Also made in France in the Focal workshops, this tweeter comprises an inverted dome cone, made from an Aluminium/Magnesium alloy and moulded into the famous ‘M’ shape – a Focal exclusive. This profile lends it greater rigidity, reducing distortion, with a wider diffusion angle. It delivers an even finer treble.
The Vestia loudspeakers feature a vent towards the front for more frontal impact, in addition to one at the back for an encompassing bass: a bass-reflex profile which enhances the depth of the soundstage. With Vestia, feel new emotions as you listen to music or immerse yourself in the Home Cinema experience. All models in the line deliver the Focal purity of sound with even greater finesse and sound details.

Title: Vestia + Dirac Live full spectrum and room correction at closer to 150 Watts is magic
Review: material choices. 9/10Construction. 9/10Treble w/o Dsp 8/10Bass w/o dSP. 3/10Treble w/dSP Dirac 10/10Bass w/dSP Dirac. 8/10Don’t let the negative reviews from people plugging into basic AVRs w/o at the bare minimum using all the tools that ever modern setup needs like REW, ROON, DIRAC Live, And any other software Audyseey 32 XT or other DSP measurements of the room and the frequency responses that are cheap and wildly commonplace as of recent hardware.People whining about quality are essentially taking a NHRA Funny car to a Rally Race and complaining and how slow their car is despite it always being within at most a 10th of a second at any drag strip in the country. Not understanding that we are firmly in the age of software is in no way the fault of Focal. That one reason as to why so many new young guys get into Audiphile as a hobby. The tweeter is the best I have ever heard with its lack of sibilance that is why I hate most ribbon tweeters, folded all the way to Infinity Emit-R, If you buy these just be cognizant that nearly any EQ makes it sound better. Using acoustic paneling, acoustic treatment of the ceiling and floor are help the sound. Crazy how many people in this hobby seem to have forgotten that nearly every positive review of a bookshelf ended with them saying which powered subwoofer paired with said speakers at the end of every review. Would like to have all of them do an A/B test with highest scoring bookshelf speakers in the last 5-10 years. Would bet money that most of them would agree that their test showed how they moved the goalposts
