Title: My favorite Garmin watch by far, use daily
Review: Long time fan of Garmin watches, their versatility is unmatched. I’ll be the first to say that this watch is complete overkill for my needs as I do not need any of the tactical additions to the line and the premium for the build quality, flat bezel design, 51mm casing, and the green flashlight were what drew me to it.I’ve been using Garmin watches since 2018 and with each model seemingly getting more expensive and seeing what the 2025 prices look like, this might have to carry me over for the next few years.First thing I recommend is to replace the included straps with a nylon loop with quick fit connectors.I run 40-50 km a week, bike around 150-200 and this has been my daily driver since I got it. Battery life is roughly 14-18 days with around 2 hours of use a day, 31 days in smartwatch mode is a meaningless figure to me.

Title: Totally different realm of smartwatch – way better than Apple Watch Ultra BY FAR
Review: I was quite hesitant but, finally decided to pull the trigger and never looked back. I tried 3 different variations of the Fenix 7 and the Epix 2 but, this was the one. Generally, I would compare this to the way the Apple Watch Ultra works but, that is akin to comparing a phillips head screwdriver with a hammer. They are both tools with different functions.I found that I never used the features of the LTE on my Apple Watch Ultra so, I do not miss that connectivity. I have found that I do miss Siri and being able to do certain things however, I have over a dozen HomePods that I can trigger automations and timers so, once I got past that, there were really no other comparisons. If I leave the screen on Always On, i get about 9 days of battery life. 3-4x more than what the Apple Watch Ultra has. I have gotten familiar enough with it and have it set perfectly for me and I get 28-30 days of battery out of it. I do notice that I lose a day or two of expected life when I run 3 days a week. That gets me to about 20 days of battery. That is negligible to me.The bands that come with it are great but, there are a lot of bands that are high quality on Amazon that are under $25 and look great and hold up.It is a big expense but, instead of having an Apple product that last for a few years, this is a 4-5 year buy for me. I would only buy another an Mk3i since I am a diver as well as a shooter but, I do not dive enough to justify that expense at this time.If you can afford it or, if you are considering an Apple Watch Ultra, consider this timepiece. You can do 95% of everything on it that you can do with the an Apple product. It is only 30% more and worth saving that to move up to something that not everyone else has. This is not a More Of The Same watch like Apple produces year after year.

Title: Incredible watch
Review: An absolute beauty of a watch I really thoroughly enjoyed having it. Everything was perfect from the watch face to the lighting the built-in flashlight. My only gripe was I could not wear it for longer than a few hours without becoming uncomfortable. I persevered with it for quite a while to try and get used to it but no matter what I did I could just not keep it on.

Title: Best Smartwatch ever
Review: I have been on the fence on getting an apple watch due to the fact you have to charge it almost everyday. This is by far the best smartwatch I have ever seen and tried, the nylon band was kind of bulky and couldn’t keep the watch in place from sliding down my wrist without having to tighten up the band tooo much. Got a aftermarket soft nylon band and it feels amazing. Display quality is great. Battery longevity is amazingI use this watch for all of my 4 workouts sessions each week. Garmin connect app gives you a lot of information about your health and workout analysis. If price tag is not an issue buy it cause it worth every penny.

Title: High quality, expensive! Wish there were basic app integrations.
Review: I’ve been using this watch for about three months, and can confidently say that it is an excellent tool and worth the extreme price. You get what you pay for…I’m a professional pilot and was considering this or a D2. I think they’re both on equal footing, since they have flight-related apps and sync with my phone and instruments in the cockpit. The Tactix just has the “field watch” styling that I’m used to.The construction of the watch is excellent! It’s not any heaver than 50mm watches that I’m used to, and the included nylon band is quite stylish. I replaced it with an aftermarket stretch band, which makes the watch easier to use when I’m in the pool. The screen is tough, but I bough an aftermarket protector just in case. Also, the titanium bezel does scratch against hard surfaces. I have several nicks and scratches after a few months of use.The Garmin battery life doesn’t disappoint. On average, I charge this watch once a week and it takes about 30mins to charge. The AMOLED screen is excellent even outdoors. I suggest buying the MIP version if you’re primarily outdoors and the OLED version if you’re indoors. The fitness tracking features are second to none! When I bought it, I was recovering from an injury so it felt like starting from square one again. The watch provides excellent insights into my general health and how to improve everything from sleep to workouts. It does provide workout recommendations, which is handy. Cardiovascular options abound (I mainly use it on hikes and in the pool), but strength training is pretty limited and not as intuitive. However, the data is limited to select Garmin Apps. You can export data and privacy options are thorough, but it doesn’t sync with Health Connect on android. I’m not sure about Apple hardware, but having a health connect option would allow me to easily import data from strength training apps.If given the chance, I’d buy this watch again. It’s high quality and I use its features every day.

Review: Initially, I ordered the Garmin Tactix Standard, and while it seemed to meet my needs, it didn’t provide complete satisfaction. The screen on the standard Tactix reminded me of a watch from the early 2000s. I used it for a few days until I discovered the Tactix AMOLED model, which boasts a much better display. I decided to pay the difference and order the AMOLED version instead. As soon as I held both watches in my hands, I knew the AMOLED was the one to keep. If you’re considering buying such an expensive watch, I’d advise against repeating my experience. However, there were some issues. About an hour after the initial setup, the watch froze, and I struggled to restart it. I also couldn’t connect it to my phone afterward. I had to reset and reinstall the Garmin app. Fortunately, I haven’t experienced any other glitches since then, and the watch has been performing excellently. In reviews, I noticed other people have faced similar issues, so I hope Garmin can address this. In my opinion, a watch that costs over $2000 shouldn’t have any malfunctions.

Review: I was not expecting the amazing quality of the watch, out of the box and it was easy to configure and use. The battery life worth every penny of this expensive watch. The screen is clear and visuals are amazing. Not too heavy and comfortable on the wrist, personally I feel discomfort to sleep with but this is my personal experience. All functionalities are easy to access and intuitive highly reccomended

Reviewer: First three hours and it won’t charge past 83%.. tried resetting ect… we will see how much of a hassle it is to return. It also has gotten stuck on swimming.. screen wouldn’t respond but to a reset…. had to reset this thing 4 times now… only in hour 3 with it…

Review: This watch makes me want to do better, sleep better, work harder and eat right. I’m glad to say I’ve already lost 10 lbs in just 3 weeks of use due to better habbit forming exercise and paying closer attention to my health metrics… I’d definitely recommend this product. If only it was solar, and didn’t need to recharge, it would be a perfect watch.
