Title: Great watch
Review: I absolutely love my Garmin Tactix 7 Pro Ballistic Solar Watch. It’s a substantial upgrade with its DLC coated titanium case and enhanced sensor array. The 1.4-inch touchscreen, though not as bright as some rivals, offers intuitive navigation. One standout feature is its solar charging capability, extending the battery life impressively. It supports over 30 sports activities, boasts precise GPS tracking, and includes a handy ballistic calculator. I’m particularly fond of the customizable watch faces, allowing me to switch styles based on my activity or mood. While it’s packed with features and customizable options, getting the hang of all its functionalities requires a bit of time. This watch is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a durable and versatile timepiece for outdoor and tactical use.

Title: A must have for pilots and sailors!
Review: The best watch I have ever had. Worth every penny and more. Why did I hesitate so much? If you are a sailor or a pilot, this watch is invaluable. It has the tide tables, that saved me several time. It gives you Metar, and TAF before you fly. It does everything and more. It has a very useful flash light, which came in so handy on several occasions. I have not used the ballistic feature. The watch is very rugged. I think the face is scratch proof. With my use it looks new after six month. It charges with solar, although not sure if it makes any difference to battery life. I charge it once a week. You can read the watch in bright sunlight and at night it has a light. It has so many features and customization that I have not been able to use them. The watch figures out if you have walked and tells you how long. You do need garmin connect on the phone to use all the features. The learning curve is steep, but really worth it. Thank you Garmin! I forgot, it also measure your blood oxygen. At 12000 ft altitude mine went down to 86%. Time to descend.

Title: Garmin… Forever the BEST there is
Review: Now I want to preface this with the Tactix 7 is overkill for the regular person. This is more geared for ODA’s/Special Forces personnel and operators. If you want a quality smart watch the Garmin Fenix 7 is much cheaper and very similar in some ways.Working with ODA’s I needed something that was rugged and could handle the harsh, hot, sandy, and nasty environments I work in. A watch that was able to take a beating and continue to working as if it liked it. The Tactix 7 was the watch. As soon as it came out I began researching and absolutely loved it. The only thing that was stopping me was the price point. $1600 for the Tactix 7 Pro Ballistics was a bit steep for a watch. But I knew I needed something that was sturdy and able to be used in harsh sunlight like my Garmin Instinct Solar. I drink a few to many beers one day and gave in. 2 days later I had my brand new Tactix 7 Pro Ballistics in my hands. And as I looked down on it, and it looked up at me I knew it was a bond that would last forever. As my shedded tears fell onto the watch face they rolled off like punches when I try to kill a camel spider. The watch has a beautiful design, made with great qualityIt is solar powered (it will probably not charge the watch but will keep it from dying faster)It has a built in LED light that is useful for finding my phone at night so I can use its LED lightHas all the Garmin Connect features like Body Battery and Training Readiness on the watchIt is touch screen as well as button only use, your choice, I use bothIt is just a very well put together product and if you work in an industry like mine it is worth the money.10/10 product. I recommend buying. If you have a use for it.

Title: Perfect!
Review: I’ve been using this watch for months now, absolutely my favorite watch I’ve ever owned, so many features that take time to learn but will definitely help you with everything you need or want! Battery life is pretty good for a watch that can do everything this can, the more features you track on your Home Screen the faster the battery will die, I track my workouts and my sleep and id say I charge averagely every 17 days, I’ve also used this for backpacking and the gps works flawlessly! I know some people complain on the brightness but really it isn’t that bad.

Title: Nice watch with an eventual product malfunction pending
Review: An awesome watch, unfortunately the select button corrodes and malfunctions within warranty duration. I’ve heard of the company replacing with a referb or potentially a new device, but it’s probably a roll of the dice.

Title: Best on the Market
Review: Does everything I have ever wanted a watch to do, I came from a pebble and this is like the modern equivalent of the best version of a pebble. I can get nearly a month of batter without too much solar exposure (winter in the north). I thought the flashlight was kind of a dumb addition but it’s easily the most used thing on this watch for me somehow, works pretty decent in dense woods at night using the green setting I’ve gotten myself out with only that. GPS capability has saved me on multiple occasions and is very accurate. If you’re considering it, just do it.

Title: Why are Garmin watches so glitchy?
Review: If the firmware/software was more stable and reliable, this would be the perfect watch. However, it crashes sometimes when navigating or doing other things. Despite this, it would be hard to find a better watch with these features, etc. It’s accurate with GPS tracking. I enjoy the sleep tracking feature, which helps me with my health. The sapphire glass is amazingly tough and durable. The metal bezel definitely wears out faster than the glass. It’s big and bulky, so hopefully, you have decently large arms/wrists. I like that it’s possible to purchase the ballistics software on the standard model after the fact if you want to add it later. Honestly, the stock watch faces are great, and with the Tactix, I didn’t find a need to download any 3rd party watch faces from the IQ store. Expensive, but it’s nice! Garmin, get rid of the bugs!

Review: This watch is amazing.Since I bought it, I took it for a spin in 12 countries and dozens of over/under sea, climbing and other adventures. It is much more precise in all aspects than any of my previous watches. Great style too.* I thought the flashlight was a gimmick until I found myself constantly using it. IMHO, all watches should have it.* Sleep tracking works better than $200-500 other watches I tried. Same with the heart rate – more precise. A lot of other brands are very bad, but most don’t know because they have nothing to compare.* GPS and map features are what makes this watch extra special.

Review: Garmin pay does not work with any kind of credit cards or visas or mastercards issued in any bank in Saudi Arabia. I spoke to my bank and they said our visas and mastercards are accepted everywhere and I should check with Garmin. Indeed I checked Garmin Pay list of countries and Saudi Arabia wasn’t even there.Middle east maps are very poor compared to Europe maps and north America maps. There’s even a huge file size difference between the maps that shows that.Very disappointing.
