The thing I need to place is quite heavy, is it stable?
Of course! please make sure to tighten each layer of poles during installation, as their stability is sufficient for your daily use.
Does it require the use of tools for installation?
Women friendly design! only the nut at the top requires the use of the included wrench for installation, while other positions can be manually rotated to complete the installation.
How many things can be placed on each floor? I’m worried that filling up with books will cause them to collapse.

Title: Works great in my office

Title: Got a second one, because I liked the first one!
Review: I love this shelf so much, I bought a second one – so it serves it’s purpose for me. It’s surprisingly lightweight. Very easy to put together, the instructions are clear and easy to understand, although it’s pretty self-explanatory without the instructions. It looks very nice in my family room with kids books on the bottom and my books on top. I’m happy with the quality of the materials, the way it goes together, and how easy it was to build it on my own without any assistance (very easy for a single person to do).I wish that there was an option for sitting flat or wheels, but you must use the wheels because of the construction, you can’t just leave them off. The wheels add a bit to the instability making it important to anchor if you’re using it as a fixed shelf. We currently have it blocked and shimmed to keep it from being a hazard.Overall, I think it’s a good product and I do recommend it (enough that I bought a second one), but it could be improved upon a bit to make it more sturdy/not need to be wheeled if that’s not a feature you need.

Review: This easy to assemble five piece shelf works great for all of my organizing needs. These pressed wood shelves are light weight, but extremely durable and pretty . I would trust each shelf with at least 30 lbs. the heavy metal poling secured each shelf tightly together. It stand about 5 feet tall and only comes a few inches off the wall. I love that the wheels give me the ability to change the location of the shelf without taking everything off. Makes for an easy change when I need more space in my bathroom. Enough storage for all my towels.
