Title: Amazing audio quality, huge battery, best speaker for this size
Review: By far the best Bluetooth speaker you can get in this size.The sound is amazing. (One would expect nothing less from JBL). Plenty of power for a party outside without having the entire neighborhood hear you. The base transducers on the sides add a significant about of lower frequencies that are hard to believe from such a reasonably sized speaker. The highs are clear and crisp the mids have a bit of that JBL warmth …amazing all around.Dust and water proof.There is an app to let you run some upgrades and adjust EQ settings.That battery just lasts and lasts and is also replaceable (couple of screws).I had a previous version of this speaker, it had a very annoying and difficult to open charger port cover.This one eliminates both the cover and the proprietary charger. The speaker can now be charged via USB-C which automatically detects presence of water. The cover is no longer needed.There is even a bottle opener on the shoulder strap to make this already speaker even more practical and perfect.

Review: Very durable feeling. I bought it for our pool room and it gets nice and loud. Very easy to connect to as well as easy to charge. I have brought it with me on my Ranger as well as on my boat. Holds a charge for a very long time and is great for outdoor use. Also, it looks really cool!

Title: Awesome Sound!
Review: I love this speaker. This little speaker packs a clear, detailed punch. The battery is replaceable, and I love that it is both water and dust proof. The battery life is extrodinary. I do a lot of woodworking, so I acumulate a lot of dust in my work place, so it works great in my wood shop. Where this speaker really shines is outdoors. Outdoors it really opens up the sound quality, enough your neighbors might complain. The bass is booming, but the sound quality and vocals are exceptionally clear. It is definitely worth the price of admission!

Title: NO Regrets!
Review: The JBL Xtreme 4 has blown me away. It’s much louder than my previous speaker, and the sound quality is incredible. I’ve taken it jogging, river rafting, and even on vacation. It handled mud, sand, and being fully submerged in water for 15–20 minutes — and still worked perfectly afterward. The battery life also really impressed me; even at full volume, it lasted a solid 6 hours in the sun and water. Review: YOOOOOOO !!! One of my best purchases in a while!! It has the BASS !!It has the POWER !!The JBL app makes things better with the EQ thingy on it.Can also use multiple speakers as well.We are a “outside” family. We need our music. The Xtreme 4 is now a legit family member now. As you can see, JBL runs this household. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you get yo a*$ up and grab this speaker. The power supply makes this WORTH the price. Review: I think the Extreme 4 shows us the challenges of making a portable, waterproof speaker sound great. It must be very hard to pull off.I bought the E4 to upgrade from my old JBL flip 5, which still works fine. The sound quality from the E4 is better than the Flip 5, but not by much. Certainly not 4x better, based on price.But the E4 is cool looking, and has nice bass sound. It’s the high notes that get muffled. The equalizer in the JBL app is a nice feature, and is the saving grace here.Nice speaker considering the size, durability and battery life. If you’re expecting high fidelity, prepare to be disappointed.

Review: Another great JBL product to add to my collection! Got for our outdoor hot tub and other situations where I wanted good quality sound. This checked all the boxes. Long battery life, JBL app allows you to control things including 4 preset EQ levels and a 5 band manual EQ!Sounds amazing and is actually very easy to carry or tote around. Battery life is insane!Smaller than an old school “Boombox” but twice as loud with the highs, mids and lows all clean and solid!I would highly recommend this for.anyone who wants portable, loud, clean, weatherproof sound!

Fiz um churrasco e ela deu conta de 8h evento e ainda sobrou bateria. Usei também com a TV, ficoi ok. Mas não é a principal função dela.

Review: Muy contento con la bocina. No era de mi agrado el estilo camuflaje de la bocina (estaba de oferta) sin embargo es una pequeña molestia respecto al gran sonido q ofrece (además los logos dorados de los radiadores pasivos se ven bien en el Sol). Buenos graves q si se comparan con el modelo anterior (extreme 3) está nueva versión alcanza frecuencias más bajas pero el modelo anterior alcanza volúmenes un poco más altos en los bajos usando a un volumen de menos del 60%.La mejora en sonido es pequeña (pero significativa) se notan más las voces, los agudos son brillantes sin chirridos molestos q si se escuchan la extreme 3, en volúmenes altos es más controlado la extreme 4, al 50% el volumen es alto para un cuarto pequeño (no creo usarlo en interiores a más de ese nivel) midiendo los decibeles con el teléfono (q no es una referencia profesional) genera cerca de 70 decibeles.En exteriores (conectada a la corriente libera 100watts) el volumen a 100% es impresionante (para el tamaño q tiene 3 litros) y aunque distorsiona (mucho menos q la extreme 3) está bastante bien contenida y sigue generando una apreciable cantidad de graves lo q no hace el modelo anterior (extreme 3) que baja muchos las frecuencias bajas al maximo volumen.Me gusta q se puede reemplazar la batería y la carga a 80% de volumen la batería paso de 100% a 10% en casi 14 hrs.La aplicación permite algunos cambios de ecualización. Pero principalmente la he usado para emparejar la a otra bocina.La aplicación te permite elegir entre dos protocolos de emparejamiento (Auracast y Partyboost) solo he probado el Partyboost con una extreme 3 y una charge 5 y diré que no es muy estable tampoco permite separar demasiado las bocinas, apenas cuatro metros y se entrecorta la señal del maestro (extreme 4) a la bocina receptora (charge5 y/o extreme 3) además existe un ligero retraso de varios milisegundos q en principio si te acostumbras da la impresión de eco dando la ilusión de espacialidad y sinceramente es impresionante.He conectado las bocinas a una Echo Dot para que esta las controle, usando la función party Boost ha sido posible conectar tres bocinas jbl por Partyboost a la Echo Dot sin embargo el emparejamiento es muy complicado por qué requiere conectar una por una las bocinas (con la aplicación de jbl) y forzar la conexión de la Echo Dot mediante la aplicación de Alexa y así liberas al celular de controlar la bocinas. Solo no hay q alejar a la extreme 4 de la Echo Dot o se rompe la conexión y a volver a comenzar la conexión una por una otra vez.Ojalá q usando Auracast en vez de Party Boost mejore la conexión y la facilidad de uso tal vez compré jbl Go 4 para probar.Compré unos pedazos de manguera para cubrir las argollas de metal en donde se sujeta la correa, obvio q el roce de metal con metal las va a rayar si las dejo expuestas.Definitivamente compraré otra para tener el par estéreo y espero q el uso de Auracast haga más estable la conexión.(MUY BUEN SONIDO. Recientemente se actualizo el firmware y el resultado es una conexión muy estable al usar la función Partyboost. Me permite alejarme mucho más de las bocinas sin desconectar se además de que desapareció el retraso que se escuchaba, aunque todavía a veces se aprecia un pitido agudo en algún momento de las canciones supongo q en otra actualización se mejorará. La conexión con la Echo Dot todavía tengo que forzar la mediante la aplicación de Alexa que prioriza la Charge 5 sobre la Extreme 4 pero eso pues no es culpa de JBL ) Definitivamente comprare otra.Actualización:Recién adquirí una segunda bocina (azul). Si el sonido de una es bueno, la segunda mejora la experiencia.El emparejamiento de dos bocinas se puede realizar de dos formas..- La más rápida manera es oprimiendo el botón Auracast en ambos equipos prendidos, no pasa mucho tiempo antes (segundos) de que un sonido en ambas bocinas avisando que han quedado vinculadas. El tipo de emparejamiento en primera instancia es paralela o simétrica por llamarla de alguna manera por qué el audio es exactamente igual en ambas bocinas dónde una bocina (maestro) recibe información del celular computadora televisión bocina inteligente etc; y reenvía la información de la canción a la segunda bocina (esclava).Cada JBL extreme 4 es un reproductor estéreo ( dos tweeters dos woofers, un tweeter y un woofer para cada canal izquierda y derecho por tanto son 50 watts para el canal izquierdo y 50 watts para el derecho). Por lo que vinculadas repiten la misma canción cada una reproduciendo con su propio canal izquierdo y derecho..- La segunda manera de vincular el par de bocinas es usando la aplicación de JBL que igual te da dos opciones (AURACAST o PARTYBOOST lo cual la hace retrocompatible con modelos anteriores y futuros dispositivos).La aplicación permite emparejar simétricamente ambas bocinas, la cual diré que la conección entre bocinas es bastante estable solo cuando me aparte diez metros es que empezó a fallar la conección en la bocina esclava.La segunda forma de emparejamiento y que solo usando la aplicación es posible, es el emparejamiento estéreo. En este modo la bocina maestro reproduce un canal (izquierdo o derecho) y la esclava (izquierdo o derecho) que son 100 watts para el canal izquierdo y 100 watts para el derecho. Esto convierte el sistema en un equipo estéreo de 200 watts ( si está conectado o 160 watts si opera con batería).El sonido del par estero es claro poderoso intolerable al 100% no lo subo a más del 30% o 40%. No he notado demasiada distorcion puedo escuchar un largo tiempo sin cansancio auditivo (casi feliz de quedarme sordo) la calidad de los graves o frecuencias bajas depende de como las ubiques lo mejor es esquinando las bocinas a las paredes para que se reflejen los bajos.La aplicación no permite ecualizar si se realiza el emparejamiento por lo que se deben de hacer los cambios de entonación de las bocinas por separado una por una (si lo desean) antes de hacer el emparejamiento.El tipo de emparejamiento último que se haya realizado se mantiene después de apagar las así que al prender las se vuelven enlazar automáticamente.En modo de espera conectado a la fuente de poder se mantiene enlazadas hasta q se se reconectan a la fuente de sonido.El escándalo que se arma enlazandolas con una extreme 3 una charge 5 y dos jbl flip 6 controladas con Alexa es memorable con estabilidad sin pitidos que se ocurrían antes de la actualización de firmware.En general ha sido una buena experiencia con pocos fallos por qué solo dos veces se han desconectado sin motivo (estando conectadas a la toma de corriente).
