Title: Easy to assemble, does what it needs to do.
Review: I was happy to find these little shelves and was even more pleased that the two pieces may be arranged differently. I have about a dozen books I want by my desk. However, they were taking up my desk, which felt too cluttered. I got these little shelves, and they provided the extra space I desperately needed. They are versatile: big enough to hold my dozen books and even some of my trinkets. I like them. They also don’t take over all my desk so it looks more organized. There were no missing parts. The box they came in had all the necessary parts to assemble them and included a small screwdriver. I did have to take it apart a couple of times because the holes have indentations where the screw head will go, so watch out for those. Otherwise, the screws will stick out. They seem to be well-built, but time will tell. The color blends well with the rest of my desk. I wanted white, but I’m glad I went with the brown colored instead. I recommend them.

Title: High quality and sturdy!
Review: This is REALLY nice. I found this as my new job didn’t have top drawers, so I wanted my space to be more organized. I am genuinely surprised and super happy with the quality of this shelf. It comes with real wood screws, not the flimsy ones and an actual screwdriver. The instructions were easy to follow and no issues at all putting it together. It took me less than 10 mins! I already have another one in my cart to buy again. Love it!

Title: Great overall
Review: This shelf is very cute and roomy for a collection of books and small figures. I love the clean design and different levels it has. For anyone who needs a decent sized shelf to store some books in it and some other trinkets for a good price, this is what I recommend you buy. Now, it’s great and all, but there are some minor defects. I’m not the best handyman, so it took me some careful trial and error with screwing in the screws and following the directions. Sometimes when I screwed them in, the material surrounding the edge of the hole chipped off. The directions weren’t entirely clear, so at one point I had to unscrew 4 screws from a piece that I just attached, and this ended in some of the material chipping off as well. I wasn’t too worried about it chipping off around the edges because I was already planning on buying some white circular stickers to cover up the holes from the screws. These stickers weren’t provided with this shelf, keep that in mind. Some claim for the shelf to be wobbly, and that is partly true. If you screw in the screws to be flush with the surface of the wood, it will definitely be unstable. When the screws are screwed in very tightly to where it leaves space between it and the surface of the wood (second picture) is when the shelf becomes sturdy. The shelf being adjustable is an amazing plus.

Review: If you get creative with it, you can set it up in different ways! It’s a great little bookshelf—perfect for when I started reading more and needed to organize my growing collection. Definitely recommend it if you’re short on space or just getting into reading!

Title: Quick and Easy: Perfect for the Non-Handyman!
Review: I am not a “handyman”–if I was, I would probably have built something like this from scratch. As it is, I can’t nail two pieces of wood together, so this was just what I needed.I’ve put a few bookshelves together in my time, so I wasn’t completely green when it comes to working with a kit. This kit comes with all the screws you need (plus one, of course), and a screwdriver. The screwdriver is not exactly a Craftsman, but it does the job. It’s dual-sided–Phillips and flat head–though you’ll only need the Phillips head.I followed the directions and managed to put together both parts to the shelving in under thirty minutes while sat on my couch.Two suggestions for the manufacturer:1. Use photographs as opposed to drawings on the directions. I was able to follow them, but photos would be clearer.2. Provide some means to clamp or secure the two parts together. I get the idea of having two separate parts. It means you can configure the desk shelving according to your needs. However, I can see them sliding apart (e.g., if there are strong vibrations in the room, or perhaps a book falling over) unless you have something heavy weighing each piece down. If this is a problem, and you’re secure in your handyman skills, you could screw or nail the parts together once you have them configured to your liking. But then you’re stuck with it like that.To sum up, this is well-made, easy to assemble, and perfect for the non-handyman.

Title: Just the right size and a gorgeous purple color too
Review: I bought two sets of purple ones and love them. Now everything is within reach, and my desk looks SO organized and peaceful. I thought I would mind the screw holes being visible (there are no matching color stickers in the box), but the screws are a darker metal instead of shiny silver. So they don’t look bad, actually. I purchased two extra things to make them perfect: 1) I bought baskets to organize further and declutter. It was easy to find perfect ones here on Amazon that fit right underneath the larger space on the bottom. 2) To minimize the shelves moving around, I also bought some non-slip pads and cut them to size. I put them underneath on several points, and now the shelves are stable enough to stand up to my cat scent-marking them! (see pic with red dots)
