Title: You can actually see what you’re doing..
Review: Game-changer! This welding helmet is so much better than the previous arccaptain auto dimming helmet I bought. You get what you pay for; the Lincoln isn’t cheap but you get a helmet that adjusts and fits well, is comfortable, and most importantly you can actually see what you’re doing. It has several options for dimming and it was easy to find a setting where I could see much better and still retain proper safety. The electronics are also smarter than the arccaptain and it can distinguish between bright LED ceiling lights and a welding arc, which is something the “captain” can’t do. Glad I bought this.

Title: Superb welding helmet. Many features for a reasonable price.
Review: I rarely leave a product review but this welding helmet is the best one I have ever purchased. The features I find exemplary of this helmet include:-Best quality in terms of visibility I have worked with. Is almost like night and day to other, typical welding helmets. You can clearly see your weld pool and the work piece during operation. Easily the best feature.-Fit is extremely nice. Has multiple points of adjustment and the band that is circumferential is easily adjusted with a knob adjuster.-Best price for a welding helmet with all of these features. I was able to pick this up on sale but it is on par or out competes helmets that cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars.Again, I rarely leave a review but this helmet is so nice, especially for the costs, I recommend it for amateurs and professionals alike.

Review: Wow! Just got it and had to play, this is such an upgrade from my Harbor Freight auto helmet, it’s not even anywhere close. Should have spent the money years ago! It comes with all kind of goodies, extra lenses and a real instruction book! Plus a very nice storage bag! Very high quality build and very comfortable! Worth every penny!

Title: NIce helmet, very clear and large view.
Review: This helmet is a huge upgrade from my old Miller. I needed the larger viewing area because I wear bifocals. The view is a lot clearer than the Miller too.I added a 2x magnifier lens that slipped right in and I can finally see to weld again.

Title: Amazing Warranty!
Review: I bought this 4 years ago and it will not keep a battery. I have to replace the battery every time I go to use it. The only way around it is to leave it out in the sun everyday all day. It is so aggravating to spend this much money and not last. I am not using it commercial use, so it is still in good shape. I just replaced the lenses for the first time. UPDATE: Chatted with Lincoln on their website withing a couple minutes the woman said she was shipping me a new lens! That is customer service!

Review: This helmet although is heavier than my cheaper no frills Lincoln no rules/no limits auto darkening hood it is so much better in viewing quality! First the bigger viewing area is amazing and the clearness in the lense is better than the other one without an arc!! Once the arc is lit and the auto kicks in i can see the weld pool toes and arc wayyy better with more color and clarity!! I dont necessarily like the adjusting straps, i find that sliding the helmet up or back my face still touches the plastic when down..overall I think this hood is better by far and I’ll use the old Lincoln as an emergency backup when the adjustment assembly fails on the 3350, and I believe it will!!

Title: Visibility and clarity is great
Review: Well worth the money!!! I’m a professional welder with 21yrs of experience behind a hood. I must say this is by far the best hood I’ve ever owned. The visibility and clarity is way better than I expected it could ever be. The head gear feels cheap but is extremely comfortable so we’ll see. I showed 6 other guys at work this morning and every one of them was highly impressed. I don’t know the durability or longevity of this hood but if it only lasted a yr I would buy one every yr. This hood is a game changer for sure. I highly recommend spending the extra cash

Review: I’m a beginner welder and I wanted a decent helmet to start out with ads my eyes are very important to me. Well turns out this helmet was even better than I Had anticipated. My dad welds all the time and has now claimed it as his own. the other 6 he has just collect dust now. The auto visor works flawlessly, and the puddle is very clear to see while welding. easy operation even with gloves on to switch to grinding mode.

Review: My last one lasted me roughly 12 years and took a lot of abuse since I’m a full time welder, although I had a fair bit of black tape holding things together it has lasted with no issues in performance. This one I’m hoping will last just as long, love the big viewing area. The only thing I have noticed is at times it is slow to react when striking an ark even with the sensitivity set up.

Review: It arrived on time and wearing black plastic, so no one can know what it was.The helmet is perfect, the grinding mode is a welcomed feature. The best thing about it is it’s clarity when welding and the viewing area is amazing. Definitely a must have if your planning on welding for a while or your a professional welder.
