Title: The Best of the Best
Review: I got it one year ago and still are my favorites, excellent bass and sub bass, mids are brilliant, warm with a lot of detail and a rich timbre, when you listen jazz or live music is like you are there , really a vivid and like real life sensation, treble is airy , good, not sibilant at all, is a headphone easy to sound, nothing feels over range, I use with EQ. Voices are present not laid back. Soundstage is not so big but big enough, more than a Focal or Meze 109.The last year I try and sold Sony Z1, Meze Empyrean OG, and others expensive cans and Monolith destroyed all of them. Give a really fun and balanced sound with a powerful punch. Better than DT1990, Focal Elex, Hadenys, even Meze 109 that is one of my favorites also but the difference is that M1570 has this live performance with holographic sensation. I have now Monoliths M1070C, and had M570, 1060C, 1070 and the M1570 is the best of all. Recently also I bought a LCD2 closed backs to compare with the Monoliths and Monoliths are really on same level, same timbre and space , side by side with M1070C are almost similar , Audeze has a little more detail retrieval but still my winner is M1570. Now I’m waiting for a Sash Tres SE to compare, I’ll update when I get maybe next month

Title: Bf listened to his favorite song with these and cried
Review: He inherited my Sundaras and I bought these. His first test of these was surprising. Actually, very comfortable to wear. If you have long hair, it will give you surprise barbershop moments. I hold them with my tiny little itty bitty hands and they feel powerful. It sounds really good. Good luck finding a balance cable for these. Weird 4 pin XLR connectors. These are heavy, but not uncomfortable at all on my tiny little itty bitty head.I think they’re good. Definitely brings out more sound than the Sundaras, but note that it’s not major. I still like them.Song is Radiohead “No Surprises” if you were wondering.

Title: Absolute Steal of a Headphone
Review: You need to know what you’re buying with these. You need good quality, high-powered equipment to drive them and unlock what they’re made to do. They’ll sound really underwhelming if you don’t.Fit, form, and build quality: 8; 8; 8.I really don’t get the complaints. The clamp is just right. The pads are lush and thick. The headband, when set correctly is comfortable—and I’ve got a shaved head.Sound: 9/10. They’re a tiny bit warm and dark, but this is where their charm and character comes from. You can use hyper dry, clean and analytical equipment and the headphones still feel musical and pretty.- Through a fully balanced chain and wiring of an independent dac and amp—Woah. It’s gonna be serious coin to do anything better that you can perceive.- Through a single ended setup of an independent dac, eq, and powerful amp—Phenomenal.- Through a cheap dac and powerful amp—you’ll be very pleased.- Through just a dac—Just ok. This isn’t what they’re made for. These aren’t “portable/mobile”. Don’t waste your money if that’s why you’re looking at them. All that to say, spending the additional money to power these and give them proper detail is going to be what makes you truly love them. Are they better than headphones double or triple the price? Eh. Subjective. But they sure do make you wonder why you’d spend that much money. Buy em used.

Title: Great balanced sound signature
Review: These are big and heavy headphones but they do sound great with a pretty balanced sound signature. For the price the quality of sound coming out of these headphones is top notch. The build quality is average but they still feel pretty solid.

Title: They sound great, aside from a popping noise in the left ear.
Review: Not sure if I got a defective unit, but every 30s or so the left earcup “pops”, almost feeling like something’s tapping on my eardrum.Like all other reviews mention, they’re very heavy, but that’s not much of an issue for me.I’ve read that getting a new cable can resolve the popping, but at the price that these are, it really shouldn’t be necessary in my opinion.

Title: Okay sound but too heavy and gimped connectors.
Review: The sound is alright and a bit better than the old m1060. The weight is ridiculous at 700 grams and can only be worn for short periods. The lambskin pads are nice but the velours feel like an after thought. The cable is also like Audeze but using different pins which is kind of stupid as two or 3 companies use the same pins and you can interchange cables.I can’t recommend these for the price due to the sound which is good but the extreme weight but do think the cheaper one might be better value. I am returning to monoprice. There have all been reports of over current protection being triggered on the SE cable. $400 would make more sense but he headband needs to be address again.

Review: The M1570 is big, heavy, and meant to be used sitting in your favourite chair, preferably keeping your head motionless. There – now that’s out of the way and we can talk about how they sound.Thr longer I own the M1570 the more I like them. The giant planar driver provides plenty of assertive punch and rumble, but keeps everything well controlled and doesn’t bleed into the adjacent frequencies. Midrange is accurate with a rich timbre. Vocals have a nice presence and acoustic guitars are sublime (listening to Pink Floyd’s “Goodbye Blue Sky” as I write this). Treble is somewhat laid back and non-fatiguing but make no mistake: these headphones are detail monsters, able to image instruments with pinpoint precision and provide plenty of “first time I’ve noticed that” moments with familiar tracks.Overall these headphones sound great right out of the box, but a little bit of eq makes them truly special.

Review: +detail and imaging+pleasing warm signature with airy and yet smooth treble+surprisingly comfortable-build (yokes doesn’t hold in the cups properly so it doesn’t feel very solid)-cable is too stiff and heavy and uses proprietary pin-out so you can’t use an aftermarket one-soundstage is just average (just slightly better than 660S)
