Title: Perfect GPU for 1440p Gaming
Review: I’m extremely satisfied with my RTX 5070 purchase. For anyone gaming at 1440p, this is the sweet spot. Performance has been consistently excellent across modern titles, and the efficiency is seriously impressive. The only games that have pushed temps above 70°C for me are Cyberpunk 2077 and Red Dead Redemption 2, everything else stays in the 60s, so cooling really isn’t something to worry about.Noise-wise, the card is practically silent in my setup. I have to open the case to even hear it buzzing faintly, my AIO cooler and case fans easily drown it out during regular use. It’s very quiet under load, which has been a pleasant surprise.I’ve also really enjoyed the new AI frame generation features from the 50-series. They add a noticeable boost to visual fluidity and smoothness, and so far I’ve had no issues with stability or quality. The card’s build quality is solid, while it’s made of high-quality plastic rather than metal like my previous GPU, it still feels premium and sturdy. One thing I don’t get is the hate this card is getting from some influencers. Sure, it was marketed a bit too aggressively, some called it a “4090 killer,” which I agree is a stretch. It’s obviously not on that level in raw power. But for the average gamer who wants excellent 1440p performance, great efficiency, and next-gen features without dropping over a grand, this is the perfect choice. Not everyone needs top-tier enthusiast hardware to enjoy modern games.Honestly, I don’t understand why this card is rated around 4.2 stars at the time of my review. My experience has been nothing short of phenomenal. I suspect some of the lower reviews come from unrealistic expectations or fringe issues that don’t represent the real value this card offers. If you’re on the fence, I strongly encourage you to give it a shot. It delivers where it counts, smooth gameplay, quiet operation, cool temps, and AI features that actually make a difference. For a mid-tier GPU, it absolutely punches above its weight. Don’t let a few negative voices steer you away from what could be one of the best upgrades you can make to your gaming setup.

Title: What a monster!!
Review: Definitely a worthy upgrade! Well I upgraded from a 1660 super OC, so this was a monumental improvement! Tried it out for the first time and wow, giving me amazing quality and outstanding performance! Very efficient on heavy loads as well, which left me very impressed. Definitely a great choice, for someone who is on a budget. This is a sleeper type of GPU. Looks sleek but has a lot of power. Stays cool under heavy loads, giving me high fps with ultra settings. Definitely happy with my purchase! Great price 👍🏻

Title: Great card for the price.
Review: Awesome card for the price. Looks great, runs great, sounds great. Instant improvements for a 2060 super, but that is to be expected.

Title: Rtx 5070 compact card
Review: perfect size for small cases. I paired it with ryzen 7 7800x3d. The temperature never exceed 71c at 4k highest setting in game such as expedition 33. Love the size of the card. It’s even smaller than my 2 fans rx 6650xt.

Title: Very Powerful Card
Review: I bought this card after upgrading from a 4060 Ti. Card works flawlessly. I was initially worried about the noise, but it ended up being very quiet. I have an AIO liquid cooler and my rig runs completely silent while on my desk. Installation is easy and it comes with a PCIE adapter. I didn’t need a sag bracket on mine, but for peace of mine it might be helpful. If you can find this at MSRP It is a great option.

Title: Ignore tech YouTubers that are so out of touch of reality
Review: There’s a reason why every tech YouTuber says to not buy this card, and it’s that the performance is not what they “promised”. What tech YouTubers fail to realize is that we do not all live in their world of luxury of being able to afford 40% markups on a GPU.The hate that the 5070 gets is just stupid and this exceeds every expectation I have for it. I have this paired with a Ryzen 7 9700x and I’m able to play Seige on max settings 1080p at 300 fps. Witcher 3 on High/Ultra settings at 190-220 fps. CS2 4:3 medium settings at 330 fps. This card currently holds a 1.03% market share above both the 5070ti and 5080, and it makes sense. The 5070 currently possesses the best Performance per dollar in the market. With its AMD equivalent costing within the 700 dollar range there is no reason to get it over the 5070.Best modern era card to get if you’re tight on a budget

Title: Worthy Upgrade
Review: Upgraded from a 4070. This thing is a monster. Running newer games on ultra with Ray Tracing. No FPS loss. Definitely worth it.

Review: I bought the MSI RTX 5070 Shadow for the suggested MSRP at C$829+tx. I had a RTX 2060 before so for me this is a huge upgrade. I paired it with a Ryzen 7 9700x. I play in WQHD on a 165 Hz monitor. MSI had always been my trusted GPU brand and I like their designs. I never had problems with their products thus I went for another MSI card when upgrading. The 5070 has been criticized all over the internet and I think NVidia’s marketing was just horrible. Of course the RTX 5070 doesn’t have the performance of a RTX4090. The entire RTX 5xxx series is weak. Since Radeon dropped the RX 9070 and 9070XT NVidia’s GPUs appear even weaker, especially the 5070 that is consistently outperformed by the RX 9070XT. I still decided to go with the RTX 5070. The RX 9070XT is not available at MSRP in Canada right now. While this model is $829 the 9070XT is at least $950 and most models ranging $1050 to $1200 in Canada. That’s a big price difference and wasn’t worth it in my opinion. The biggest drawback of the RTX5070 is the 12GB VRAM. That being said, this is not a 4k card! It clearly targets 1440P gaming. I played Resident Evil 4, GTA V Enhanced, RDR2, Oblivion Remastered. None of these games took the 12GB VRAM in highest settings. Resident Evil 4 and Oblivion Remastered hovering at 10,5 GB VRAM use.In Oblivion Remastered High-Ultra mix, Framegen on, DLSS Quality, Ray Tracing High I get consistently over 110 FPS. RE4 I even get 150 FPS maxed out. GTAV RT enabled, Ultra Preset 100 FPS. RDR2 Ultra preset 100-130FPS.Temperatures were around 75 degrees when playing for 2h in the above mentioned titles. The fans are noticeably loud when gaming. Idle the temperature is 42-51 degrees. While I understand the frustration online over the RTX 5070 and yes, 16GB VRAM would have been better, it’s a good mid-range GPU for 1440P. It outperforms the RTX 4070 and 4070S. I think DLSS4 and Framegen are really amazing. In some games it works really well in others not so much. It may lead to artifacts when playing but the FPS boost is enormous. The only time Framegen caused some blur effects was in Oblivion Remastered but this game is in a very poor state when it comes to performance.Verdict:If you can get an RX 9070XT for MSRP you should go for it. If you are coming from the RTX 4xxx series an upgrade is simply not worth it. To me it appears this card aims at mid-range 1440P gamers that were still on old RTX 2/3 series rather than people who look for an annual update. The MSRP $829 is a good investment and from the RTX 2060 I more than doubled my frames.
