Title: Fresh coffee every morning.
Review: I love how quick and easy this machine is to use. Just add beans and water, swipe the handle, and you get a fresh cup of coffee in under a minute. The design is beautiful and compact — perfect for my kitchen. The coffee tastes great, and the built-in grinder is surprisingly quiet. It’s not a café-level espresso, but it’s perfect for everyday use. Very happy with this purchase!

Title: Cute, small, effective- tbd on durability and quality
Review: This espresso machine has been great so far! It does everything (besides milk steaming/frothing), and is pretty automatic. I bought it for my mom who likes espresso drinks, but isn’t that savvy about making them, and doesn’t want a machine with too much room for error/skill involved. This machine is perfect for that, as it grinds and tamps the coffee and produces espresso. I’m giving her a separate milk frother too for milk-based drinks (latte’s), and I’ll update this after I hear her thoughts. In general, I’m hesitant about machines with the grinder built in since it can be hard (or impossible) to clean, and I worry about it becoming non-functioning due to one part and not the whole espresso set up, but I’ll have to see how long this lasts for. It is super cute and small, perfect for keeping on the counter in a small kitchen. —Update: my mom is obsessed with this now, and packed away her drip coffee machine. She says she doesn’t need cream/milk or anything with the espresso or longo, and got a bit over caffeinated the first few days with the ease of making a coffee and how tasty it was. I’m now jealous of her machine (I have a very nice espresso machine but it takes a bit more time/effort than this) and would love one of these for my office- it’s so simple, it would be hard for any officemates to mess it up.

Title: Cafe-quality espresso in one smooth motion!
Review: I’m absolutely in love with the Philips Baristina! It combines everything I want in a compact and beautiful machine — grinding, tamping, and brewing all in one seamless motion. The 16-bar pressure delivers rich, velvety espresso with a perfect crema every time. The design is stunning — the natural white finish with the ash wood portafilter looks so elegant on my kitchen counter. It’s super intuitive to use, easy to clean, and doesn’t take up much space. I also appreciate how quiet it is compared to other machines I’ve tried. If you want fresh espresso from whole beans without the hassle, this is 100% worth it. Highly recommended!

Title: Disappointing experience despite promising design
Review: I was really looking forward to trying the Baristina. The design seemed well thought-out — compact, sleek, and marketed as a clean, automated way to make espresso. As someone who previously owned a traditional espresso machine but gave it up due to space constraints, the Baristina’s small footprint was a major selling point.Unfortunately, the experience fell far short. The machine struggles to properly capture and grind whole beans, and even when it does, the espresso comes out watery — even when using the strongest setting. There also appears to be a slight leak in the espresso bean holder, which might indicate that my unit is defective.Either way, this was a major disappointment and I’m returning it. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend the Baristina.

Title: There’s a trick to make it better.
Review: Bought this to upgrade from keurig k cups and make an occasional espresso. Yes you can program this machine to make larger cups/shots. Mine is programmed to make a 6oz pour.First impression: everything was too watery. Even with the boost button, Espresso shots just taste like strong coffee. Lacks the intensity and richness you expect from an espresso. The lungo (4oz pour) tastes like terrible watery coffee.I bought the same brand of coffee for both k cup and beans for a fair, head to head test. The kuerig was the clear winner. 6oz of coffee from the kuerig tasted bolder than 4oz from this machine. How? Pulled out my scale and discovered that the kcup had 11g of coffee grounds. This machine only grinds 9g (with the boost on). There needs to be more grounds to make a decent cup in this machine. You cannot adjust this. Here is the trick. Press the espresso or lungo button and Start grinding. After 4 seconds, press the button again to stop mid grind. This will fill the portafilter with a 3-4g of coffee without brewing. Now do it again and let it brew. The machine will now grind 9g on top of what’s already in. Now you have a total of 12-13g which changes everything. So much bolder and richer.Overall, I like it. After this hack, it makes an amazing cup of coffee and an acceptable espresso shot. Great for easy convenience. If you are an espresso snob, this machine is not for you.I also have concerns about the Portafilter. After cleaning and drying, there is still water that gets trapped inside. You have to shake it violently to get trapped water out. Even then, it is impossible to get it all out. There will always be moisture inside with no way to fully dry. Mold is inevitable without intentional care. I’ve

Title: Just what I was looking for
Review: My husband and I have been using this every day for a week now. Before, we just weren’t happy with how our coffee was tasting so we got this espresso machine. It’s simple to use, does not come with a manual but we looked it up online. Im actually enjoying my cup of coffee now whereas before, I’d drink maybe half of the cup and be done. We dont care about fancy coffee drinks so this is perfect for us! I really wanted a machine that would grind the coffee beans and dispense them automatically and this does just what I wanted! It’s a little loud when brewing, but not terrible. Definitely worth it for us.

Review: Having owned a Saeco all-in-one machine previously, I was looking for something that reques less maintenance and less cleanup. This one works beautifully in both respects. The only downside, if any, is after the machine has been used, grounds of coffee eventually sprinkle down to the counter, requiring a quick clean up. Potherwise, this machinme gets five stars!
