Title: It’s smart, but not that smart
Review: I bought this because I’m taking up running again after a hiatus of 7 years or so. I like the high resolution screen. I like the run tracking. I like the reminders to get up and move throughout the day. I like customizing the screen. I like removing screens I don’t use. I like the tests. I like the suggestions. I like the buttons. The sensors seem to work well, although for runs I bought the chest-worn monitor, which is more accurate. I do see messages from my iPhone on it, but can’t interact with any apps on my phone, of course. I suppose Apple’s ecosystem is closed, so that it currently impossible. It would be interesting if Polar made it possible to install apps. That would depend on what OS they are using, or if it is one they made themselves. One odd thing is battery recharge rate. Half the time it takes waaaaay longer than I would expect, more than 10 hours. Other times, it is fairly quick, like 5 hours. So far, I recharge when it gets between 15-20%, so the amount needed to recharge has been fairly consistent. I see online others complaining about slow recharge times, but like I said, mine is up and down. But the slow days means I’m not tracking my activity during that time, and charging at night would mean not tracking sleep. Have to lose one or the other. There must be a better solution. The mobile app and web app are both good, at least for what I need. Having not used others, I don’t know how they compare, but I find the data, charts, etc. quite useful.Overall, I really like it and look forward to many years of use.

Title: screen went dead after 6 hours of use. Never came back.
Review: I had high hopes for the watch. It is highly rated for cyclists and has great battery life for long training rides. Put it on and the screen went permanently dead after just a few hours. Disappointing.

Title: Amazing Watch…Bad Charging Cord
Review: Excellent watch and has served me well. The charging cord that came with it (original Polar cord) barely charged the watch…like 10% overnight. So I bought a replacement cord that works much better. But the watch is amazing!

Title: Serious issues with the wrist heart rate measurements and running cadence
Review: I have use the watch for 17 months now. The watch has many features, but to be honest it lacks the quality of the older models from Polar. Specifically, the wrist based heart rate is often showing about 2 times my actual rate. I have tried to wear the watch more snugly and as instructed, but it does not seem to help. The other issue is that the cadence is sometimes showing zero while I am running. My previous model M430 was much more robust and did not have any issues. On the positive side is the Polar Flow Web page. I don’t like the phone app at all, so i am reviewing my data on the web page.

Title: Love it!
Review: It is comfortable, it has a replace band that is smaller for people with small wrists. The metrics are fantastic and the battery lasts longer than other smartwatches

Title: Junk – don’t buy
Review: Broke after 3 months. Absolute junk. Riding in the car on a trip, my watch hand was next to an A/C vent so cold air was blowing on it for an hour or so. Completely stopped working. Will not turn on even after charging overnight. I have seen in several blogs that cold air will kill the display and it can be revived by putting it in an oven for a few hours. Hesitant to try this. I have sent it in for warranty repair – hopefully at least it will get fixed.

Title:
Review: Versus the Vantage V– Faster CPU results in much better responsiveness– Significantly longer battery time– The OLED screen is much, much clearer and sharper to see– Watch face configurability means its easier to access the data you’re interested in– Some great functionality improvements and tweaks, including in the just released version 3.0.16– More comfortable to wear and I much prefer the nylon loop strapReally pleased with the purchase.I can’t compare to other brands, but this watch does everything I need in the gym and long distance walking. And its an good looking, relatively compact watch that I use 24×7.

Review: It’s really light, and I like the design. It has a lot of sport profiles and the straps feel as very good quality. I also bought the bike mount and it’s amazing.
