Title: Solved ! We had several Camper Blackwater / Graywater Issues and this took care of them.
Review: We had the opportunity to choose this 500W Macerator Pump from CrestWave at just the right time. We have a couple of their water pumps on our ranch and were familiar with them. Here is a description of why and how we used this pump to solve several issues. Our 20 year old nephew is staying at our ranch for the summer ( maybe longer ) in a 35 year old TrailManor camper. The camper is an all hard sided clamshell design high / low that pulls at 24’ and extends to 30’ when set up. We had almost no notice our nephew was coming so a proper location for the camper is in the works. There were several problems to work out for using a camper on daily basis. First was that this camper uses a recirculating toilet system. Meaning it has black water and basically does what this macerator pump does on a very small scale. It does inside the toilet and the treated blue toilet water is recirculated until the tank is full then dumped into a blue boy or into a sewer / dump station / septic system.Until this macerator pump was installed, our nephew was using a blue boy to empty the gray water and black water tanks. For anyone who doesn’t know – a blue boy looks like a push lawn mower but is a blue tank with wheels. The camper black or gray water system is dumped into this rolling tank then the tank is pushed or pulled to access to our septic system ( or a dump station) and emptied. Since the camper is a high/ low and literally the bathroom walls and the wardrobe have to be folded into the floor before the outside is pivoted back over the axles and lowered to move it, pulling it to the dump station is not feasible + needing to be emptied 1-2x per week.My husband said this macerator pump would resolve several of these issues. If the camper had a larger bathroom foot print, this macerator could have been installed either in the bathroom or possibly in the kitchen under the sink ( the logistics depend on where the black and gray water access points are located and the angle of drainage). By adding this Crestwave Macerator Pump to the outside of the camper, my husband hooked it up to both the gray and black water. Now leaving the gray water dump lever open, the gray water flows directly to the macerator pump and is pumped out into our septic system. The black water goes to this pump when the recirculating toilet is dumped into the tank – since that lever is left open too. It still doesn’t rid us of the old recirculating toilet system but once the camper is where it will spend the next few months, my husband plans to replace it with a regular ceramic RV toilet. This Macerator system is a huge part of what will make that swap possible since the tanks on this old camper were not designed for a typical ceramic or plastic RV toilet. For the initial install, my husband plumbed the two RV tanks into the macerator pump system ( as described above ) and hooked up an old 3/4” garden hose running to the septic clean out opening. The garden hose needed to be pitched anyway. He said that he could see the hose pressure up when the system was running and was concerned that the old garden hose might fail. This did let him test the system to ensure the theory of how everything would function was tested and proven. After he knew he had everything hooked up to work together, he added a 1” pvc pipe to replace the garden hose. He ran it to the septic cleanout + drilled a hole for a 90” pvc fitting into the cap of the cleanout. Now it is hooked up full time. This same system will work when we move the camper to an area in the tree row with privacy and more shade since we have access to the septic system from there as well. This setup could also be adapted to flow into a 50 gallon barrel or IBC tote mounted to a trailer and be emptied when needed. We wanted to avoid emptying anything and had access to our septic system so it worked out fantastic for us.

Title: Working Sump Pump
Review: If you need a water submersible pump, works. It’s nothing special, but it does pump water well, particularly in our basement that tends to take on water in heavy rains.

Title: Excellent Potential
Review: Needed this for a basement utility sink drain to pump up to the sewer line. Looks promising for both pumping height and distance. All necessary components appear to be included (not the sink drain itself of course). Need to build the new laundry room first before I can install the sink and drain, so have not yet installed. Will update this review in a few months if anything significant to add.

Review: the crestwave 250W high-efficiency sewerage pump is just what we were needing for our basement bathroom. Installation is straightforward and we were able to get it hooked up and working properly. We now have a powder room in the basement off of our family room so no more trips upstairs during family movie night.
