Review: UPDATE: After reading my verified review, the manufacturer contacted me and speedily rectified the situation refund/replacement. They were helpful and generous with their time. I am excited to have a working mat back again. Tip for those people talking about the feel of the mat. Simply lay a thin sheet or yoga blanket over it. You will begin to move around and exercise and your body will thank you for doing that rather than just sitting there like a brick.A month ago I would have likely given this red light yoga mat five stars. I have raved to friends about how much I use it while watching tv; so much better than sitting inert on the couch. Love how it makes my entire body feel. So that’s the good part. But then, out of nowhere, the jack would not make contact inside the plug. I quadruple checked to make sure there was nothing blocking the connection, but still nothing. Under the product it says they will back up the quality for 3 years. I have written them directly three times and have not heard anything. So now I have an expensive, unusable mat that I used to love. I only had mine for about ten months and it died. I am looking for a new brand that I can trust won’t break with no customer service leaving me out $350. 🫠🫠🫠 In short, red light yoga mats are great, maybe just look for a more reliable brand!

Review: I can’t say enough great things about the Advaray red light therapy infrared pad! It’s been a game-changer in our household. I originally purchased it to help with general soreness and muscle recovery, and it’s been incredibly effective. It’s also made a noticeable difference in my husband’s recovery after his knee surgery—he’s experienced less stiffness and faster healing since using it regularly.Beyond the effectiveness of the product, the customer service has been absolutely outstanding. When we had an issue with the controller, the Advaray team responded quickly and went above and beyond to make things right. They were professional, kind, and truly cared about ensuring we had a working product. Title: Shoddy quality
Review: I bought this item a year ago but have only used it six months. The mat works fine but the controller stopped working so I can’t program the mat. When I circumvent the controller the mat turns on but I can’t tell at what strength, use the flickering mode or the timer. So when the controller broke that mode that comes on is the only mode that works.I have tried to contact the company twice requesting a new controller, or even if I had to buy a new one, it is just a small plastic piece easily exchanged, but to no avail. No one has contacted me back helping me get my expensive mat to work again. So buyer beware, this company is not interested in satisfying their customers. This controller shouldn’t be broken after only six months of use. Shoddy quality. Inge AlbertFast forward one month. Now 80 percent of the mat went dark, broken. So this mat worked at most seven months, the manufacturer never responded to my requests. I am really disgusted with this company. Don’t buy 🤮

Title: Relaxing, heals deeply, but for stronger *immediate* relief, try far infrared (FIR) or heat.
Review: Update: I have had this mat for quite a while now. It does give off more heat if I lie in my bed with it on the mattress, and even more if I cover myself with it, or lie on it with a blanket on top of me. It gets quite warm this way, and I will sweat. Although NIR doesn’t give off as much heat as FIR, this is the way you can get this NIR mat to warm you up quite a bit, if you’re looking for that benefit of sweating out toxins.Along with stretching my joints and using a vibration plate for pain, this mat is really helping. It relaxes me, helps my muscles recover from using the vibration plate and stretching and using dumbbells a bit faster, and reduces inflammation over time. Also helps soreness I get from massaging stiff parts. I do have to wait for myself to heal, but lying on this mat is very relaxing and does seem to speed things up. I am in a much better place than I was before I started using this mat. I still need my NSAIDs and sometimes Lyrica, but I have been able to take a walk without agnozing pain afterward, for the first few times, in a long time.==End of update==This mat is very well-constructed from what I can tell. I noticed no weird smell. I can see how it would withstand yoga poses and such. I just lie on it in different positions to let the near infrared (NIR) penetrate everywhere I can. According to sources I read, NIR can penetrate “up to several centimeters” and deeper than far infrared (FIR), and you won’t feel a lot of heat from NIR. If you want a more immediate soothing relief from heat, you’ll want a different mat that has FIR, or an electric blanket. However, over time, the exposure to deep-penetrating NIR is shown to reduce inflammation and speed healing of tissues, and goes deeper. If you want to warm up with this mat, covering with a blanket might get you sweating a little.Something about lying on this mat is extremely soothing. I relaxed enough yesterday that when I took my usual muscle relaxer after using the mat, I got a lot more sleepy than usual, as if I had accidentally taken a double dose! For a while, I wondered why the med was hitting me so much harder than usual, and this happened twice, so it must be this mat, either the red light or the NIR. I bet if I used it before bed, I would have no problem falling asleep straight away. It’s pretty wild, actually. In particular, if I lie on my *stomach*, the relaxation response is pretty quick and very noticeable, and I can get drowsy.In one week, I have gone from 3-4 muscle relaxers per day to 0-2. I can feel endorphins doing their thing even right now and I haven’t used the mat yet today. I still need the NSAID, though. If I improve even more, I will update my review. Healing takes time, and fibromyalgia is especially difficult to manage, so perhaps if you have a different condition, it would work even better and faster for you.Also, the red light does seem to have firmed up the surface texture of my skin quite a bit in a short amount of time, but I do spend a long time on the mat each day, up to 90 minutes.I am very eager to see what more time does with this mat.One more thing—the company is easy to deal with. I had a problem applying a coupon and they were very quick and accommodating.
