Title: This actually works! Took about 30 min to assemble, handles many sizes of kids books.
Review: This actually works great for most sizes of children’s books, and so far seems pretty sturdy. I was worried it might be a tipping hazard for my toddler before I bought it, but after 1 month of use I am not still concerned. (We put heavier books on the bottom and lightweight DVDs / stuffed animals on the top). If I was really paranoid I might have left off the top shelf, to make it 25% shorter, ( I think they sell a shorter one, too) but so far the 4-shelf version seems to handle daily usage in the nursery just fine.The wood shelves are secured with hex-head wood-screws , tools and gloves are included, and installation went fine except for one very minor crack while tightening one upper side-piece. Overall, tolerances and design seem pretty good for an affordable flat-packed spinning shelf. My kid likes turning it and picking out books to read at bedtime.This books handles ~90% of kids books just fine (Tall ones, short ones, big ones, small ones) However, there is one book shape that it is not good for: Some kids books (like “P is for Pterodactyl) have short heights and really long page-widths. ( approx ~8.5” H x11.25W) . For these books you probably should use a different shelf, because they will stick out too far and fall off easily unless rotated vertically. But again, this issue affects is less than 10% of our kid’s books. The good news that it handles even fairly large format books quite well, eg, “Daullieres’ Book of Greek Myths” fits fine once the shelf is filled.

Title: excellent efficient way to organize books
Review: I bought one of these for myself, then I bought one for a friend and two more for myself, and I just ordered one more for myself; they are an ideal solution for storing books in small spaces, like in the corner of a room, under a desk, etc. The unit is very easy to assemble (one step in the instructions is not explained well: don’t forget to screw in the middle platform after you fit it into the slots!), and I like the fancy doily that comes with it to cover the screws and slots on the top shelf when it’s all done. I had run out of wall space for traditional bookshelves, so I am very glad that I found this rotating alternative. The two photos show the first one I got for under my desk and a brand-new one that I just assembled today. I read the negative reviews and they do not match my experience: all the wood was nicely sanded, the packaging was extremely well done (with only a small amount of styrofoam and plastic for the garbage), and loaded up with books, the shelf spins easily and feels very sturdy. Highly recommended.

Title: Sturdy, Fun, and Space-Saving
Review: What fun and a space-saver! This bookcase is just beautiful! It took my husband hours to put it together though because the directions aren’t that great. But he got the hang of it and it’s a beauty. I loved putting my books in it. It swivels easily, has more space that I realized and is super sturdy, too. I never took time to stain it, but I love the natural oak color so I may just leave it as it is. It’s a fun break from the same-old-same-old traditional bookcases we’ve all had in the past.

Title: Simple, functional!
Review: Pleasantly surprised! Saw someone using this to store tonies on top and thought it would be a great playroom addition. Really appreciate this is real wood and that they included sandpaper to sand down any rough edges. So helpful as I’m using this for little kids books and toys. Stores a deceptively large amount of books. The wood is untreated so I highly recommend applying some mineral oil to protect it, especially if you’ll have kids using it / spilling things / sneakily drawing on it. Love it so far. Feels very sturdy. Easy assembly, even with two little kids involved.

Review: Wir suchten schon lange nach einem solchen Regal. Der Aufbau war leicht, mit einem Akku-Schrauber gings schneller, weil es viele Schrauben gibt. Das Holz ist unbehandelt (Naturoptik), aber das gefällt uns. Man muss nur beim Aufbau aufpassen, wo man die Schrauben reindreht, damit das Holz nicht beschädigt wird. Der Drehmechanismus ist gut, unser Kind (15 Monate) kann es leicht selber drehen und bedienen.
