Title: Fantastic Cabinet
Review: I just purchased this to use as a liquor cabinet, and it is perfect. FYI, I bought the 35 inch in Brunette Brown. Assembly was a breeze, just read the directions and take your time (plus, I have a few tips). For a piece of furniture in this price range, I am very pleased.For starters, the packing was great. Double boxed, individual pieces all individually wrapped with custom sized pieces of styrofoam to ensure shipping integrity. Very sturdy.Instructions very clear and easy to follow. Every piece of hardware is bagged with a number that corresponds to the assembly diagram. And get this, they send a bag of extra hardware (pictured below). Amazing.On to assembly. Very simple. Only small complaint is having to use a hex wrench in places where you can’t even get 180 degrees of swing. Just makes it tedious, but the cam lock design makes this a very sturdy cabinet. A couple of assembly tips:1. I did the entire assembly on a card table with a towel on top. So much easier than bending.2. When you install the back pieces, there are no pre-drilled holes. Once you get the pieces aligned, I suggest you drill some small starter pilot holes. I used a 1/16″ bit. Align, get one corner down and then go kitty-corner before you do the rest on each panel.3. The trickiest part is assembling the doors to the cabinet. I did it with no extra hands like so. Lay the cabinet on its side with the overhanging edge of the top hanging off the card table to keep the cabinet flat. Place something under the door (ie, books or magazines) so the door is even with the cabinet. This makes it much easier to align and screw in the hinges.Finally, I’ve assembled plenty of these types of kits over the years, and this was one of the best I’ve ever seen.

Title: Overall nice furniture
Review: This is the piece that started it all. Wanting quality real wood. I added frosted vinyl to the glass because the cabinet houses shoes. However, I do wish it was a bit deeper for my hubby’s larger shoes. Ended up ordering a trunk to place his boots and complement the cabinet. Next will be a couple of side tables for the living room. Overall I really like the quality, style and ease of putting it together. They give plenty of extra hardware. I even like the prongs on the square knobs so they don’t twist. Eventually found the drawer stops attached to the back of them. Took me a minute to notice them, probably in the manual but overlooked. It was a woo-hoo moment. Some things don’t line up perfect. One door is slightly off and one draw seems to stick a little. Overall nice furniture.

Title: Broken, Terrible Customer Service
Review: I have bought three pieces of furniture from Simpli Home, I love the style, and they are pretty sturdy once put together. However, each of them has had some sort of shipping damage, it’s never been something a little wood glue and some clamps can’t fix.I got this cabinet and the top is one of the last pieces out of the box, in the picture you can see that it’s nearly fully assembled. And it’s cracked, it’s very difficult to see further down the top, but the crack runs the entire length of the top. I tried customer support through Amazon, they directed me to Simpli Home. Simpli Home went back and forth with me a few times to gather information like the batch code from the original packaging and pictures of the warning labels. I assume this all a tactic to get people to give up, as they have likely destroyed the box or removed the labels.After providing all the information Aksat in customer support informed me that the damage shown in the picture is covered by their warranty. However, they don’t stock spare parts for this cabinet, something he could have told me before wasting my time hunting down warning labels. He directed me to start a return through Amazon. Which means that I will need to now disassemble this piece, find a box, and lug it around to ship it back.I absolutely would not recommend purchasing anything from Simpli Home, especially from Amazon.

Title: Great piece for the price!
Review: I ordered this cabinet with some trepidation because RTA furniture is not something I generally think is worth the money, but I saw that it was solid wood so I decided to go for it. The assembly instructions were about average, but bonus points for being extremely well packed and arriving in almost perfect condition. Every part was clearly labeled and instructions were detailed enough that assembly was pretty simple. The holes in the back of both drawer fronts were clogged with something (probably excess stain/laquer) that I had to manually chip out, and causing the cam lock pins to be difficult to install straight, but I’m pretty handy and that was the only challenge I had with assembly.I like that the back is scewed on rather than nailed in like some pieces. The resulting cabinet is lightweight and the wood is easy to dent, but overall since it’s actually real wood I consider it a good value. The style of the piece certainly makes it look more expensive than it is. I added some film to the inside of the glass to hide the contents from view. 4.5/5 stars isn’t an option so I give this 5. It’s really a very nice piece for the price.

Title: Nice solid cabinet
Review: I’ve assembled countless pieces of IKEA furniture, so I’m not new to self asssembly. However, it took me an appreciable amount of time to put this together. I did not find it difficult, just time consuming. Have to pay careful attention to the instructions, which are reasonably clear.. this is a handsome cabinet and worth the price.
