Title: Incredible bass, volume, sound quality, wheel movement, USB connection
Review: Holy smokes the bass is nuts. Let a bunch of friends and family members try it, and myself and everyone else physically shuddered. It’s a different experience completely I don’t think you can mentally prepare for it without feeling it and know what’s coming. It feels, so good.Something I’ve noticed is that the bass reaches max feeling around 40-50% and turning up the volume after that just turns up the non bass components with the crusher bass wheel turned all the way up.Speaking of the wheel that controls the crusher bass, I find it is a much, much, smaller range of movement than I thought, the wheel only moves about 40° but it’s super sensitive, also I find if you move a decent amount the wheel falls a bit as I adjust it every about 30 minutes, probably like 5-10°Mic quality is super clear, mute button sucks tho hard to use the mute button, maybe it will wear in and make it easier to use later all. For now I’ll use toggle mute options on keyboard, no biggie.Sound leakage is almost insane as the bass is, sound leakage after ~40% volume. This is a gaming headset though, so not an out in public headphone just something to have in mind. The USB connection thing works really well, easy to connect.Sound quality is amazing, bass is amazing, good product overall if you’re ok with spending the medium to high price tag.

Title: Immersive Sound & Impressive Bass
Review: To be honest, I’m not a gamer per se. I design & build custom equipment, some of which are gaming rigs. So yes, I do know my way around some of the most popular games. I also am an avid music fan and own and supply clients with accessories that go along with their hardware. That’s why I ordered these. I had read some reviews, but reviews don’t replace hands on experience. When they arrived, I topped off the battery and began to play. These are impressive headphones. The design and build quality are noteworthy. They have the 40mm drivers, as you would expect and they have a 25mm woofer in each ear that when engaged and cranked up will knock your sox off. That might be a slight exaggeration but with the crusher on maximum the headphones were literally dancing on my ears! With Call of Duty the sound effects with crusher turned up are quite spectacular. With the open back design the sound stage is very wide and deep. Between the bass effects and the depth of the sound stage, the results are quite immersive. With the crushers off, the sound is very full. The bass, even with the crushers off is full (and yes you can still feel it but as dominating), the mid tones are full and the treble is clear and present. I would favorably compare them to the Bose and the Sony headphones I’ve been using. These headphones come with software, for both desktop and mobile users. These apps allow users to customize various features of the headset, including RGB settings, Crusher EQ, THX Spatial Audio, and personalized sound profiles. The THX spatial Audio adds a 3 dimensional quality to the sound as you move through it. You turn, the sound turns with you. It needs some getting used to.The headphones can connect 3 different ways. You can use a USB-C cable for wired connectivity, the included 2.4 GHz dongle and Bluetooth. Both the Bluetooth and the dongle connected easily and functioned flawlessly, You can connect the dongle to the computer, the Bluetooth to your mobile and be connected to both at the same time. The mic is detachable and right next to it is the mute button.I haven’t decided yet whether I’ll provide these headphones with the system I’m building now or keep these for myself but I’m leaning toward keeping them.

Title: Good! But…
Review: So far the only issue is the software. It keeps crashing Windows Explorer (win10) so the desktop screen will glitch out when the program is open and running in background. As far as price goes, bit over priced if the only difference between these and the ANC is the THX and Head Tracking features.

Title: Incredible bass
Review: Wow. I have almost 100% praise for these headphones. Skullcandy did not disappoint.Add an initial point to clear up, I got the green “Xbox themed” version, and it works just fine wirelessly on PS5. There was some confusion on this. Basically, the only difference between the versions are the colored accents and that the “multi device” version cannot connect to an Xbox wirelessly.I tried these and OMG, the crusher wheel turned all the way up made the bass rock my entire body. No joke. I felt it everywhere. That can be reduced with the wheel. The volume is controlled with the joystick pad on the left side, which is a bit finicky. Volume up is easy enough, but volume down can be somewhat tricky without inadvertently activating one of the other “modes” that this pad also controls, but in short order I figured it out.I tried several PS5 games with these, and the headphones worked great with all. Pressing the custom button on the right activates THX head tracking mode, which works much better than I expected. It really does know where your head is angled in relation to the TV.These are open back headphones, which means they aren’t for noise isolation. The open back design is supposed to make for a larger virtual soundstage, and that has been my experience. In a FPS, you can pinpoint exactly where another player or enemy is. Terrific surround.I also used these on my phone via Bluetooth and had no problem keeping the connection. Battery life seems to be strong. My only minor issue is that many of the buttons serve multiple functions, and it’s easy to, for example, inadvertently activate Bluetooth pairing mode when trying to power them off. But that’s a minor gripe. One hint that the manual doesn’t cover but I figured out. If you need to reset these headphones for some reason, hold down both the power and custom buttons for about 10 seconds.Overall, I love these headphones and will use them pretty much whenever I play PS5. Whether they are worth the high price tag of over $250 is really up to whether you want incredible gaming headphones. These do everything they claim to, but if you don’t need body rocking bass or head tracking surround, you might not need these. For me, though, I’m really enjoying them.
