Title: Small package, big sound
Review: I have numerous pieces of Sonos/ Sonance equipment in my house including the in-ceiling and outdoor Sonance speakers. These in-wall speakers are a great compliment to my existing set-up. Installation was straightforward, although the box didn’t include any instructions, I was able to access the installation guide on the Sonos website.I use these speakers for audio only listening (paired with Sonos Amp) rather than part of my surround sound system. Sharp high frequencies and decent base given the size of the speaker. I wholeheartedly recommend these speakers

Title: Modified Install for Open Ceiling — AWESOME!
Review: I installed these speakers in my open joist ceiling in my basement as my surround-sound speakers for my media room. Mounted to black-painted wooden slats between joists. Took off the white covers so they are virtually invisible in my black-painted ceiling. Sound AWESOME!

Title: Sound muddy
Review: I have these hooked up to a Sonos app, and even after tuning with trueplay and playing around with the very limited eq setting in the app they sound muddy. I have a set of Sonos One SL on the other side of the room, and they are noticeably more clear and clean sounding than the architectural speakers. For the money, I wish I had gone with a different speaker. That being said, I love the integration with the rest of my sonos system and how they disappear in the room visually. They’re mounted in a large open room and have more than enough sound to fill the whole area.

Review: Amazing sound quality, they look beautiful and just disappear into the wall either side of the TV. The setup is a little pricey requiring a separate amp for each pair if you want to run surround sound but worth it for great sound and speakers that blend in nicely.
