Title: Great for new sitters and crawlers
Review: Baby kept falling back in large play pen due to learning to sit up, and hitting his head. This thing is a life saver. Even though I didn’t let it sit for 3-7 days to fully firm up, it was soft and thick right out of the package and I could use it for him immediately.

Title: Soft and squishy, thicker than other play mats, simple design
Review: This mat is simple but super practical. It is ideal to put in your baby’s playpen to give them a bit of extra cushion for their tushion. 🙂 It is super soft and squishy making it safer for a baby to play and walk on. It is much softer than hardwood or vinyl flooring and thicker than most play mats that we have tried over the years.There are several solid colors to choose from. I opted for the Dark Grey. It’s basic, neutral, and goes with our décor.The backside has a non slip feature that really helps prevent the mat from sliding all over the floor.I love that the play mat lays completely flat. We have tried other mats that come rolled up or folded that never really lay flat. We had to put heavy furniture on the corners to keep it in place. That wasn’t the case with this one!The mat itself is soft and pretty thick (1.3″ thickness!!). It definitely makes sitting or playing on the floor more comfortable, especially for older adults!It feels high quality and durable so I think it should last a long time without wearing down.The only issue is that it isn’t machine washable. With little ones that are always making messes, this can be problematic. However, it does have a water repellent surface so you can just wipe most messes clean!Be patient and give the mat time to expand. When you first unbox it, it will probably be smaller than expected. Ours was but fully expanded within 2 days!Seems to be a fave amongst the pets, too! They are ALWAYS curled up on it so it must be pretty comfy for them!

Title: Nicer Than Most!
Review: This play mat arrived quickly and well packaged. It comes folded down and compressed in the product packaging box, and it takes up to 3-5 days to fully reconstitute according to the instructions. Though it hasn’t been a full 72 hours since opening, I do feel like it is done or nearly done decompressing. There were no notable odors upon opening and it was free of any damage or defects. The material on the mat is a plush material that is soft to the touch which is perfect for sensitive skin. The material is water resistant which is incredibly helpful for keeping it clean. I like that the mat has an anti-slip backing to help minimize movement when being used in open spaces, and it sits nicely inside a play pen of a corresponding size. The mat is made of 1.3” thick foam that is both comfortable and resilient, quickly rebounding back to the original shape. I like the neutral color that fits with any aesthetic, and it can easily be used for more than just a baby mat once your little one no longer needs it. The mat seems to be really well made with solid stitching and quality materials. The price point for the mat of this size is comparable to other similar products when you take the current 20% off coupon into consideration. Overall, this is definitely one of the nicest play mats that I’ve had when taking comfort, functionality, and quality into consideration and it can easily be used for a pet bed, exercise mat, or anything else you can think of once your little one no longer needs it. Would recommend.
