Title: Very good quality
Review: I like how they built these boxes very well thought out really looks good on a table. I use it in the bedroom and I put that on the night table. I have one on each side and you could put different medicines in there or whatever you like, but rather than have stuff out in the open for it to be seen, it’s a real good little box to put it in. It’s actually quite large. I give it five stars.

Review: I bought this to store my father’s ashes…wella 1/3 of his ashes as they were divided amongst his children. This box would definitely not be big enough for all of his ashes. Maybe this is TMI, but I want to express its true capacity. He was a craftsman so I appreciate that it is made of real wood and is able to sustain the stress of woodburning/engraving. I also like the fact that it locks. Many urns I found were far too expensive and ugly in my opinion. It is also appealing enough to leave out in a common area in your home.

Title: Good box – Crappy lock
Review: The box is …um…an attractive box suitable for open display.The box itself is well constructed and as sturdy as one would expect for a decorative box. The locking mechanism is horrid however. The key does not fit properly and must be held at an angle to operate the locking swing. The swing portion of the lock is cheap pot metal and broke off within 2 or 3 lock operations.I did not however purchase this box to secure things (it would not do that well even if the lock had not failed) but rather to be an attractive way to store unattractive things on my desk. For that purpose, it functions quite well.

Review: The box itself was nice and well constructed.The key lock was junk. Lock did not work at all. The keys were very loose in the lock and hard to fit. Could not get to lock at all. Lock would close only with the lid open.Had gotten this box for a treasure/ keepsake box for my grandsons 10th birthday. Never showed it to him, he would have been very disappointed that the lock did not work. Would not recommend this as a gift choice.

Review: Arrived in a very substandard cardboard box (no real protection). The vanish matt finish is missing on one side in an area about 50p in side and the top meeting the front is not finished off well. Best i can say is avoid the product, it is expensive for what it is. Not worth the money charged poor workmanship. Should not be for sale on Amazon, it is substantially made.
