Title: Surprisingly Quiet and Powerful

Title: Quiet and powerful
Review: It really is much quieter than the Shop-Vac it replaced. The suction power is so good it collapsed the rubber chute on my Dewalt mitre saw. Now I have to figure out how to keep the flaps open on the saw so it sucks the dust better.

Title: the quiet part is the thing
Review: If you are like me the high-pitched whine of a vacuum makes it undesirable to bust out as often as you should. This one is quiet. Much less so than your home vacuum. With the stainless steel cannister, it looks clean and sharp. I haven’t used bags with a shop vac before, but it makes a lot of sense and aftermarket (non-Dewalt branded) bags are available at a reasonable price. I also saw a comment from a user who opened the end of a bag, dumped it and resealed it with binder clips. He claims no reduction in performance and the ability to use a single bag ten or more times. Worth a try if you want to save some money. Can’t endorse it, haven’t tried, but it is probably cleaner than not using bags at all..

Title: It really does suck!
Review: This was so worth the upgrade from my small, cheap and loud shop vac. Definitely quiet and it’s a lower sound frequency, which is much easier to tolerate. I bought it for the shop but use it in the house, regularly.For suction power, the end was briefly blocked while vacuuming a mat and it completely collapsed my dust separator bucket.Size, performance, and build quality are great. I searched hard for the best price/benefit ratio and DeWalt didn’t let me down!
