Title: Excellent coffee, particularly for the price
Review: Overall this is a five. I am not a coffee connoisseur by any means, but I know a good cup of coffee when I taste it, and this thing produces a really good cup of coffee for a not-crazy amount of money.The burr grinder isn’t loud and it does its thing pretty quickly. Brewing time after that is pretty quick also. The only (really minor) criticism I have is that the opening for the water reservoir is at the rear of the coffeemaker and it’s kinda narrow, maybe 1.5″, so I have to take care not to spill water while filling it, but that’s the most minor of complaints.Beyond that, I can’t imagine how this coffeemaker could possibly be any better for the price. It lets you adjust the fineness of the grind, and in addition to that it has three brew strength settings. Between the two settings you can make your coffee as strong or as mild as you could possibly want, I think.Cleaning it is as simple as your basic $20 Mr. Coffee coffeemaker. It seems to be well constructed and looks like it will last a while. It’s just a well designed coffeemaker all in all.

Title: JUST BUY THIS ONE!
Review: After days of research we decided to give this Gevi coffee maker/grinder a try. I almost bought the Breville, and am so glad we went with Gevi. We had been using our Kurups maker/grinder for the last 15 years and it finally died. It was important to me to be able to chose the strength, not have to measure the beans per cup but be able to easily choose a setting that would do so, and have an easy to clean product that makes good coffee. The Gevi does all of this. WE LOVE IT! It is super easy to choose settings and they work as described. We are able to add beans and leave them, we do not have to clean out the beans each day, we just add extra every day prior to making the coffee. We are not super techy, and I had to send a question to Customer Service. They answered promptly (thank you Kiki) and kindly explained the answer. NOTE: You need to choose your settings BEFORE turning on the machine (before the screen is lit) and before hitting the on/off button. Once you hit “powder 2-10” it will light up, same with strength. Then hit the on/off button. The coffee is hot, it is easy to add the water (it does not spill, there is a large opening along the entire back of the machine) the noice level is just fine (who cares, you are grinding coffee, you want to have noise) and we are overall so happy with our Gevi. If you are on the fence, give it a try, you will not be disappointed!!

Title: Coffee is TOO WEAK brewed at the STRONGEST LEVEL in “GEVI 10 Cup 2-in-1 Drip Coffee Machine”
Review: I just purchased on 5/25/25 the Gevi 10 Cup – 2 in 1 Smart Drip Coffee Machine.I seasoned this machine per the instruction before brewing.I set the current time and noted the clock is a 24-hr. format which cannot be changed.I set the Program function for the brew to start in 3 minutes; the machine came on in 3 minutes.Machine ON/OFF was set to off.The Gevi had the following:1) Brew strength set to Medium. – The 2nd level of 3 strengths of the Gevi’s strength settings.2) Bean hopper filled to top with Verve Buena Vista Dark Roast Blend Beans – Roast Level of 8 out of 10.3) Bloom function set to ON – coffee bean outline without fill.4) Grind Level set to the smallest dot.5) POWDER 2-10 set to 8 cups of coffee.6) Carafe filled to 8 CUPS level and poured it into the rear reservoir.7) Programming turned Gevi on in 3 minutes and ran our 1st brew cycle.RESULT: Both my wife and I said the same thing:The coffee is TOO WEAK and tasted like hot water.I dumped out this 1st brewed coffee batch.8) Brew Strength set to MAX strength level 3 – the image of the largest bean.8.1) Note: The bloom function is not available at the strong level.9) Ran a 2nd brew cycle.RESULTS of 2nd Cycle: Both my wife again said the same thing again we could not taste any difference from the 1st brewed cycled.CONCLUSION: The coffee brewed even at the strongest settings was still TOO WEAK!We really wanted to love the Gevi but just could not drink this weak strength coffee so I am retuning this machine. Title: Took me a while to get the strength of coffee I desired but now I like it!
Review: I ordered the GEVI coffee maker because of the dual capability of grinding with a burr grinder and making coffee afterwards. You will note from other reviews that the grinder is LOUD!!! Yes, it is but I timed it and it only lasted 19 seconds. Will it wake up somebody sleeping, maybe 😀 Otherwise I have monkeyed around with it to get the brew flavor I like. It seems to make a very strong cup of coffee. You may need to change the powder button to a lower amount than the amount of cups you want. The coffee comes out hot, but after adding cream it’s not hot enough for me. Note: The coffee maker must be turned completely sideways to put the water in the tank. It is not removable and the opening is not very wide. I placed the coffee maker on a mat that I can easily slide it around to fill the tank.The instruction booklet is intimidating with lots of steps any idiot can figure out, but… It’s not that hard after you get the hang of it. Prep the coffee maker before bed and in the morning it’s just push the button and within 4-5 minutes. you have coffee ready. Easy to clean, water flows at a good rate and it functions as you would expect.
