Title: I just can’t rate this purchase higher.
Review: 1st off is that Amazon sent me an open box clock. No where in my purchase description is a mention of buying an open box item. The banding on the original box had been removed, the protective cover over the clock had been removed then wound taped back on. The original box was then poorly re-taped placed inside an Amazon box and sold… to me.Next is the clock quality. I expected more. A screw that holds the speaker to the frame on the inside almost penetrates the outer surface. I backed the screw off but the surface finish is dimpled. The finish… There are 2 spots that a hair, 1-2 inches in length is underneath the clear coat. I was able to grab an exposed end of one to remove. This is leaving a scratch looking mark on the surface where there is now no clear coat. I left the other alone.Besides all of this I do like the clock style. Just to bad I was not sold a quality product.
