Title: Nice Table But Rather Flimsy For Price Point
Review: At this price point, you expect furniture to be pretty solidly made, but this table just doesn’t cut it for the price. I’ve noticed that they’ve already reduced the price so I have a feeling it will continue dropping to a more reasonable number for what you get.The nice thing is that the only assembly required (even though they claim there is none) is putting the legs on. It’s lighter than expected and I was surprised to hear a rattling inside when I took it out but 2 of the screw fixtures holding screws tighter had fallen out. I had to find the spots to put them back in. It seems that during their assembly someone got too handsy with the piece and overdid making it fall out easily..The rising up table top is nice, but you have to be very careful as you can’t just pull it from one end as that will surely destroy it. You have to use both hands on either side and gently glide it up. The same with putting it back down. If you try to push on one end, you risk breaking it.When a table is this fragile (aside from Chippendale) you asseme it is super cheap, so the company might need to drop this price tag much much much lower to fit what you get.While it’s nice to only have to put the legs on, I expect more quality when paying a higher price.

Review: For the price. This is a great coffee table! I needed a coffee table for our guest suite living room. That was small enough for the space, but could also be a desk to use with a laptop and even as a place to have a meal. It’s been hard finding one small enough or not in the high hundreds. This table works great. It has the slow close hinges. It did make a noise when it connected with the bade. I just added rubber stoppers like on cabinets and it worked perfectly. It’s made well. Especially for the price. Easy to assemble. Just add the legs. My mom is staying with us for a while. She likes how the coffee table is so versatile.
