Automated for easy, confident home canning, the Presto Precise® 17-quart digital canner features an innovative sensor that holds the exact processing temperature required for safe home canning with no adjustments necessary, even when pressure canning at high altitudes. Its extra-tall size holds quart jars for both pressure and boiling water canning. Use the digital interface to select the canning method and processing time. A built-in timer ensures accurate, reliable timing. LED display icons illuminate and guide you through each step of the canning method. The canner preheats the jars then holds them at the proper temperature until all jars are filled and ready for processing. To simplify the boiling water method, the temperature sensor detects the boiling point and automatically activates the canning process to safely can high-acid foods. The digital canner also holds heat inside, keeping your kitchen cooler while canning. When finished, the PFAS-free ceramic-coated pot is removable for easy cleaning. Included with the canner are a stainless steel canning rack, an instruction/recipe book that uses standard processing times in accordance with USDA guidelines, and an easy-to-reference quickstart guide. Title: Makes canning a much easier process.
Review: This is a great product and works well for both water bath and pressure canning. I processed a batch of pickles and they turned out great. As an added bonus, the water bath canner didn’t heat up my kitchen like the traditional water bath canners do. I haven’t tried out the pressure canning yet, but I’m looking forward to it.

Review: I’m a Master Food Preserver. While not yet approved for me to teach the Presto Digital Precise, I don’t have any issues using this for myself. I’ve used both the 12 quart and the 17 quart. I purchased the 17 quart for one major reason, the capacity. I can double stack pints. With a second tray, this will hold 12 wide mouth pint jars. It’s easy to use. The quick start guide is clear. The display leaves no ambiguity as to where you are in the process and what comes next.I can say this, if you’re on the fence as I was, get it. Can a few jars of water. See how easy it is. It will sway you as it did me.I forgot, it also doubles as a boiling water canner! How cool is that! Get rid of all the old stove top pots and do everything with this one.

Title: Fabulous pressure canner.
Review: I love this 17 qt canner! I have pressure canned for years with a 21 qt All American but thought I would treat myself to this electric version. It is easy peasy. I can can small loads without adding water filled jars. In fact there is no minimum in jars needed to pressure can. When I am canning a large load I will still use my All American because of its capacity but this Presto will be my everyday pressure canner. Note it only comes with one rack and you need 2 if stacking. I wish they included a second rack.Why did you pick this product vs others?:because it has been independently tested as safe to use. Also ease of use

Title: Safe canner!
Review: I’ve only used for water bath canning so far, but it was easy to use and came with great quick instructions. It holds as much or more than my traditional pressure canner but I don’t have to worry about busting my stove now. The only downside is the size…it is LARGE!
