Title: Slightly scratched up, but still works fine
Review: Looks:This is exactly the kind of design I was hoping for in my new living room/house. It was pretty scratched up when I got it and the finish is definitely needing a gloss of some kind to protect it from damage and dust. That’s the reason for the one removed star; it’s a little banged up and looks unfinished. But aside from that, the cut and shape and weight is really unique and pretty. It’s got decent space on top for a lamp or magazines and it makes for a conversation piece. I’d recommend it with the caveat that maybe mine just got damaged or I was sent an unfinished one.

Title: Solid and Beautiful
Review: This table is very heavy and solid as a rock. I like it because its rustic and solid wood. Each one would definitely be one of a kind being as they are made from a piece of a log. The wood grain looks nice and it comes with a good finish. With that said, I think the price is way too high for what it is. I have this one on my porch and it works great there. I don’t think I’d want it inside as it’s something you don’t really want to move around too much. It’s low like an end table type piece but not very large. Actually it’s sort of an awkward size for a table you’d want to use for a lamp or other things. I could see using it for a plant stand maybe indoors.

Title: Heavyweight Accent Table Made of Real Wood
Review: There is a lot to love about this solid wood accent table. First, it is heavy, about 30 pounds. It is made of solid wood and feels it. It is sturdy, steady and does not wobble. There is no assembly required. It is rustic-looking and would fit in almost any room in your house. I find it to be more of an accent table rather than an end table due to the lower height.One minor negative is that there were some blemishes when it first arrived. A couple of areas had some glue spots that fortunately, did come off fairly easily with a little wood oil soap. The stain finish also had some areas of discoloration which I was able to correct with a furniture marker.Overall, I like this quality solid wood accent table.

Title: Good idea, bad finish
Review: The idea of putting four sections of logs together to build a sturdy and massive little table is very good. And it seems that it has been realized in a very good way too: the resulting little table is straight and plumb, the four sections are strongly attached to each other.But when I saw it ………what I have just said until now was NOT the first thing I thought, because the top surface of this little table appeared dark in some spots, whitish in others, and there was a black stain in a corner.I still give it a THREE stars because I like to work wood and I have already started sanding the top, and it shows some very nice wood under the wrong finish.I don’t know what went wrong: they did not sand it after the machine cutting of the logs, thus resulting in areas with different porosity ? Or something went wrong with a polyurethane finish, notoriously difficult to manage ?Sanding time !!!

Title: Perfect as an accent table, nice natural look
Review: While I think this is a little small to be a real end-table next to a couch I think its perfect as an accent table which is exactly what I intended it for. We put it next to a wood chair in a small space and I think it really complements it, even though it has a totally different look with the natural finish. I don’t think the finish on this will wear or peel at all since it basically is just the natural wood, it certainly hasn’t shown any signs of any wear at all so far.I always prefer solid wood furniture, and this one is heavy duty with a lot of good weight to it. They did a good job of making the feet even and flat, it sits flat with no wobbling on our painted concrete floor. One minor thing is that the top surface is ever so slightly crowned and not perfectly flat, the only reason I couldn’t make this a perfect 5 stars, it is so very close though.
