Title: Poorly engineered cant get them returned
Review: First, the description says assembly requires merely attaching the legs. This is false. The nightstand comes in as many parts and pieces imaginable.Second, the item is poorly engineered. The front cabinet is too wide for the drawers. I can put an entire finger in between the drawer and the frame of the cabinet. The screw holes are misaligned, one by nearly 1/4”.I requested a return. I was instructed I had to be home the following day and wait for UPS to pick up the items. I took the day off fromwork and disappointingly UPS never showed up.We hauled them to UPS and was met with a young man who was very apologetic, but wouldn’t take them because we didn’t have a “sorry we missed you” tag from the UPS driver who never showed.It took a while for me to circle the loop of doom trying to contact Amazon support. When I finally did, they rescheduled UPS to return. And yet once again, UPS didn’t come to pick these items up.Amazon has thousands of trucks. The logistics and logic is deeply flawed.It took another loop of doom to find the chat support again on this app, but after an hour of chatting, I was asked to haul the (heavy) items to UPS again. I refused. I have done my part —a few times. I was given the option to contact another carrier to pick-up these horribly engineered pieces. Again, this is not my problem. I have done my part, given my effort, I will not jump through another hoop that renders no action. This has been a terrible experience. Two thumbs down. DO NOT recommend!!
