Title: This Rice Cooker is Outstanding!
Review: I’ve only had this rice cooker for a week, but in that time I have made two pots of white rice, a pot of brown, and a couple of pots of steel cut oatmeal. This is by far one of the best and most useful electric appliance purchases I’ve ever made. I’ve been aware of rice cookers for a long time, but it never occurred to me that it would be something I’d use much. I’ve always made pretty good rice on the stovetop and don’t make it that often, so it didn’t seem particularly necessary in my small kitchen. But I kept reading about them, and a friend told me how she keeps brown rice going in hers and she and her husband cook veggies and bit of meat and fish and top the rice with it for quick weeknight dinners. I also wanted to be able to have brown rice more often for dinner but would avoid it because it takes too long to cook stovetop on a weeknight.So I started doing research (I research all my cookware and appliances to within an inch of their lives). For my needs, which included brown rices, good oatmeal, and other grains, it soon seemed that a fuzzy logic model would be the right one. Before I made a final decision to buy, I downloaded a copy of kThe Ultimate Rice Cooker Cookbook – Rev: 250 No-Fail Recipes for Pilafs, Risottos, Polenta, Chilis, Soups, Porridges, Puddings, and More, fro to see what I could cook that went beyond rice. I was so impressed with the variety and ease of the recipes that I decided to take the plunge. Then came checking out all the models on Amazon and other sights. From the customer reviews it seemed that the Zojurishi was the right brand. But what model? At first I thought a 3-cup would be enough for me and my husband, but after browsing the cookbook, I decided to go for the 5.5 cup as more versatile, especially when I was entertaining friends.A couple of the fuzzy logic models stood out, but after comparing them on the Zojirushi site, the Nero fuzzy model stood out, and then the plethora of 5-star reviews on Amazon convinced me. The price on Amazon was so much less than on any other cookware site so that turned into a no brainer decision.The upshot is that I am thrilled with this product. The results of all my rice dishes so far has been perfect, fluffy rice. Th e oatmeal is out of this world. The controls are easy to understand and I had little problem figuring them out from the manual, even as it is obviously translated from the Japanese (which can be a problem). My favorite feature is the timer function, which lets me set up brown rice in the morning to be ready when I get home from work and to set up the oatmeal at night so I have a hot delicious and nutritious breakfast ready for me when I wake up. One of the things that amazes me is that timers usually work by you setting the machine for when you want it to starts cooking. But with the Neuro Fuzzy, I set the timer for when I want the food to be ready to eat. I don’t understand how it knows when to start the cooking, but it’s electronic brain somehow does and that makes me very happy.Finally, the bowl and lid are very easy to clean. And I’m a happy camper.

Review: This is my honest review about the Zorujitsu rice cooker Neuro Fuzzy:I’ve had this in my shopping cart for the last year and a half. When my ancient and reliable rice cooker finally conked out, I went ahead and purchased this, without hesitation. I grew up eating jasmine and Basmati rice. It’s comfort food. I also love eating porridge on a cold day or when I’m under the weather. I would use organic chicken broth instead of plain filtered water, for flavor, when cooking the porridge. I would then sauté finely chopped finely minced garlic, ginger, and shallot, add that all in, then dunk in fresh lemongrass, during cooking time. No more boiling in a regular pot. Once the porridge is cooked, I’d add shredded rotisserie chicken and a boiled egg, topped with crunchy sauteed garlic. But anyway. So, yes. I had Zorujitsu rice cooker in mind to do both jobs ( cooking plain rice and porridge ), and it performs remarkably.What I love about this product? Very easy to use. Two—The retractable power cord 🔌. Three–It’s a workhorse. It cooks sushi rice, porridge, plain white ( soft or hard ) or brown rice, and mixed rice. Four— The “Twinkle2 little star” song as it begins to cook, to the grand finale song, Amaryllis, once it’s done cooking, are good additions. So adorable. It makes me smile every time.It’s not hefty when lifted, even with cooked rice in it. It came with two measuring cups, one for prewashed rice and one for regular. Either one works really. It comes with a manual with easy to follow instructions and information.No fuss clean up. The round metal underneath the lid ( inner lid gasket ) can easily be lifted and washed. See photo attached.Washing— Pot and inner lid gasket are easy to rinse. You have to use the soft side of a dish sponge to avoid scratching the pot’s surface or it’ll lose the non-stick coating. Trust me, I learned that from the abuse I’ve done on my previous rice cookers.Oh! And no more of that overcooked, crunchy rice underneath 😊I always wipe dry the sides and inner lid gasket since moisture pools in there, and I would leave the lid open to air-dry. Overall? Though cooking time is an hour’s wait for regular rice, I am impressed and happy with this brand.

Review: I live in Spain and was looking for a trustworthy brand so I purchased this zojirushi. (For reference it is an American plug but they provide a converter)Unfortunately the product wouldn’t work for me and I had some difficulties but the seller was very helpful throughout the process! In the end I had to return the product but the seller provided great service throughout 🙂

Review: Me gustó mucho la arrocera. Tiene tiempo que la compre, pero hasta ahora he podido revisarla bien. Me gustó la presentación, el paquete incluye todo lo necesario para realizar su función, tanto la arrocera como sus accesorios. También me gustó que si cable toma corriente sea retráctil, para no batallar con acomodos. Se me hizo curioso que la pantalla ya estuviera encendida aún cuando no lo haya conectado. Es un acierto para cuando se te vaya la luz.
