Title: Beautiful knife set
Review: I own 8 of these knives. Very well made , balanced and feel comfortable in the hand. Hold a nice edge too. Sad to find out they are made in China with German steel. I always thought they were made in Germany 🇩🇪 But they are lovely. I enjoy using them daily.

Review: These knives are awesome. They are solid, heavy knives that stay sharp. We have other HS knives and love them too. You really can’t go wrong with HS. Get a roller sharpener and you’re set.

Review: I rated them 4 stars because of the packaging. Didn’t bother me at all. My husband just used the kitchen knife to chop celery. WOW. He told me to order more so I ordered 3 more. I highly recommend them. If you are buying them as a gift, have them sent to you and rewrap. Don’t let the comments about poor packaging stop you from ordering these knives!

Review: These knives are beautiful, have great weight, balance and just feel great in your hand and look gorgeous over my stove! Haven’t had them long enough to see how well they hold an edge but I’m sure they will do just fine.

Title: Horrible packaging
Review: I know that these are high quality knives, but they sure weren’t packaged with that in mind. When I opened the cardboard box there was no bubble wrap, or anything similar, to keep the knife box from flying around (several inches of space around the box). One of the knife points was poking out the side of the knife box and one of the tip protectors was outside of the knife box. This was to be a Christmas gift, so I decided to open it completely to see if the knives were damaged. All of the knives were out of their “slots” and several of the tip protectors were off. Just unbelievably poor care for packaging. I’m tempted to send them back only for that reason, but I’m going to give them a good look to be sure that nothing was damaged in shipment.

Review: We bought ourselves a set and both our kids because they are such nice knives. (A friend had bought us the steak knives) They make cooking so much easier. I wish I would have bought good knives like these years ago.
